According to The New York Times, “Two years after Britain left the European Union’s economic area, ending the ability of the bloc’s citizens to automatically work in Britain, the effects of Brexit are unfolding across the economy. One of the clearest is a shortfall of around 330,000 workers, mostly in less-skilled jobs, including transportation, retail and hospitality, according to the Center for European Reform and U.K. in a Changing Europe, two research institutes. That dearth of workers has hit the food and farming sectors particularly hard. Last year, 22 million pounds’ (about $27 million) worth of fruit and vegetables went unharvested, according to a survey by the National Farmers’ Union. In the survey, 40 percent of respondents said they had suffered crop losses, and more than half said they had cut back production.”

If he agrees with their arguments — and there is a real chance he may agree with their arguments — he could issue an injunction that would stop the distribution of the abortion pill, even in states with strong abortion protections like Vermont, California, and New York. … A 46-year-old father of five, Kacsmaryk was nominated by Donald Trump and confirmed by a slim majority of Republican senators in 2019, despite alarms raised about his writing (he once argued against same-sex marriage, no-fault divorce, birth control, abortion and sex outside of marriage — all in the same op-ed) and his work with First Liberty. At the time, the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights warned Kacsmaryk is a ‘culture warrior who[se] … record reveals a hostility to LGBT equality and to women’s health,’ adding ‘he would not be able to rule fairly and impartially in cases involving those issues.’”

Then what? It goes to SCOTUS. We all know how that ends. But whatever. Can you imagine the backlash from the nation when this happens? Just imagine! There will be none. How do I know this? Look at the backlash over the daily gun violence. Enough said! No one cares.

Of course, he did, which is exactly what the audience wanted. Why else would they have invited a shellfish, egotistical, and heartless “leader” to speak at a funeral? Because they actually wanted to hear his emotionally memorable moments with Diamond? Of course, not. You know, non-MAGA moron outsiders keep thinking people ask traitor trump to these events without understanding what he’s going to be like, that attendees are surprised when traitor trump delivers a eulogy wherein he spends more time talking about himself. This, naturally, is bullsh*t. These people know exactly what he’s going to say, and they all wait with bated breath, eager to hear him rant and rave, even at the expense of the dead. They love it! Reporting from Deutsche Welle, “Germany would not stand in the way if Poland sent its German-made Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said on Sunday in an interview with French television LCI. If Poland were to go ahead and sent its Leopard 2 tanks without German approval, Baerbock said, ‘If we were asked we would not stand in the way.’… Germany has been under considerable pressure both to deliver Leopard 2 battle tanks to Ukraine and to allow other countries to send their German-made tanks to Ukrainian forces. But Berlin has been hesitant to send the highly advanced, Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine out of concern it could lead to a widening of the Russian war in Ukraine. Poland has repeatedly slammed Berlin over its hesitant stance. Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki told the national Polish PAP news agency, ‘Germany’s attitude is unacceptable. It has been almost a year since the war began. Innocent people are dying every day.’”

They are finally coming around, and so is France, but honestly, it’s a bit late, although it’s better than never. Not sure why humanity always waits until things get catastrophic before people wake up. And as for Germany being reluctant because of its past involvement in two world wars, I am befuddled why they cannot discern the starkly disparate moments in history. Germany started both World War I and World War II; Russia started this war on Ukraine. And German tanks rolling over Ukraine is by invitation of the Ukrainian government, not by invasion. For Germany to hesitate because of the optics and reminiscence of prior wars is ridiculous. No one believes Germany is the bad guy for helping Ukraine with war materiel. They’re only perceived as the bad guy for doing as little as they have.

According to CNN, “The man found dead inside a white cargo van after a standoff with police in Torrance, California, has been confirmed as the person suspected of carrying out a mass shooting in Monterey Park Saturday night, according to police. Huu Can Tran, 72, was pronounced dead at the scene following a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna said during a news conference Sunday afternoon.”

Well, it appears that the California shooting in Monterey Park was not domestic terrorism by white supremacists. No! Rather it was just the good old run-of-the-mill American domestic terrorism by gun violence, but this time it looks like senior citizens are getting in on the American phenomenon. Fan-f***ing-fastic. As I keep saying, many more lives would be saved if these people started their shooting sprees by turning the gun on themselves first instead of last. Only in stupid America!

As CNN reports, “There are some leaders who see faith and politics strictly as an either/or competition: You win by turning out your side and crushing the opposition. But the Rev. William J. Barber II, who has been called ‘the closest person we have to MLK’ in contemporary America, has refined a third mode of activism called ‘fusion politics.’ It creates political coalitions that often transcend the conservative vs. progressive binary. ‘There is a sleeping giant in America,’ Barber told CNN. ‘Poor and low-wealth folks now make up 30% of the electorate in every state and over 40% of the electorate in every state where the margin of victory for the presidency was less than 3%. If you could just get that many poor and low-wealth people to vote, they could fundamentally shift every election in the country.’”

Have you heard Rev. Barber give an interview on the MSM? I have many times, and this guy speaks faster than I can think! He does not speak glibly and what he says is thoroughly incisive. To be sure, he is wicked smart, but I must take issue with his notion that the poor are a sleeping giant that could impact politics in the manner he desires or believes. Shocking to most RepubliKKKlans, no doubt, is the fact that most of the poor in this country are white. By percentage, the Black community is, indeed, the poorest, but in absolute numbers, white folks are the most impoverished. Lest we forget, elections and votes are counted in absolute numbers, not by percentage.

That being said, if there is one driving characteristic among poor white folks it is this: Racism. Do you think poor whitey looks to rich whitey and curses them? No! The working white poor look at their Black neighbor or person on TV — now social media — and lament, why are they worse off or no better than that n****r? How do you think these people will vote if they are encouraged to do so? Not for a Democrat. They did that once for Obama! But never again because poor whitey was made no better off in the Obama years, despite him recusing the national economy, but these are small, troublesome details that no one remembers because, if you haven’t noticed, Obama was successful and — Black!

Nonetheless, this is how we got traitor trump, and we are still living in the first Black president backlash, a backlash that has now been made mainstream and a requirement for RepubliKKKlans to get elected. This, naturally, is nothing new in American politics. It has always been whitey versus Black, but in the decades following equal rights legislation of the 1960s, there has been a gradual weakening of race equality. In short, white supremacy is back in vogue in a way not seen since before the Civil War. I’ve recommended this book before, but it’s been a while, so I will remind readers of White Trash: The 400-Year Untold History of Class in America by Nancy Isenberg. It’s the racism, stupid! Reporting from NBC News, “At least 10 people were killed and at least 10 more injured in a mass shooting in Monterey Park, Calif., late Saturday, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said. … ‘Investigators are working every lead on this case,’ Capt. Andrew Meyer from the department’s homicide division told a news conference early Sunday, adding that they were reviewing CCTV footage from near the scene at a ballroom dance club. … The shooting came after thousands of people had gathered for a Lunar New Year Festival in the small city around 10 miles east of Los Angeles of about 60,000 people with a large Asian population.”

Look, morons! Let’s just call this exactly for what it is: A domestic terrorist attack on the Asian community by some white supremacist using a weapon of mass death, aka a gun. I know the MSM doesn’t like to speculate about things — unless, of course, such surmising hurts President Biden (can you say “documents case”) — but I think the circumstances of the shooting speak for themselves. A gunman targets the Asian community during their new year’s celebration, which just so happens to coincide with the growing hatred toward China ginned up by traitor trump and the COVID “hoax,” which is simultaneously a disease of “fiction” and something real enough to blame and terrorize Asians. MAGA morons and QAnon kooks never make sense, yet their stupidity is intoxicating to more and more idiots of America daily. But I digress. Add to all this hatred America’s pornographic love affair with guns, and you get just another Saturday night domestic terrorist attack on the minority group du jour. Oh, well. According to The New York Times, “The Supreme Court has published a long-awaited report on the leaked draft opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, the decision last summer that ended the constitutional right to abortion. So far, the major focus seems to be on what the investigation failed to uncover: A team of ‘seasoned attorneys and trained federal investigators’ was ‘unable to identify a person responsible’ for the leak. But a deeper dive into the report reveals a second point that is just as important. For as carefully as investigators scrutinized every court employee who had access to the draft opinion, the report is silent about whether nine specific individuals who had the means to leak the opinion were questioned: the Supreme Court justices.”

Allow me to break this situation down for the f***trads out there. The Court uses its own internal policing organization to “investigate” what the conservative justices deem to be the worst leak in the history of SCOTUS that has led said justices to be fearful for their safety only to turn up nothing because the same conservative justices basically said, “Trust me. I didn’t do it.” It’s clear that Chief Justice Roberts never intended to find the culprit, especially after it was revealed that Alito had privately leaked the Hobby Lobby case before it was issued. So, of course, it was Alito or Thomas who leaked the Dobbs case. Of course! The uber-right flank of the Court has a history of prior bad acts, not the liberal wing. It’s always the right wing projecting the exact criminal behavior they accuse others of committing while railing against the corruption of a liberal society! Thus, Roberts can’t have an investigation into SCOTUS confirming that the conservative justices threaten the rule of law and the sanctity of the High Court. Oh, no! Thus, this sham inquiry into the source of the unauthorized publication of the Dobbs decision has duly been swept under the rug to whitewash the corruption that infests SCOTUS. But fear not, morons of America! This is what you wanted. This is what happens when you f***tards elect traitor trump to “shake” things up. He sure did alright. So, here we are! Your precious rights are next on the chopping block. Mark my words! Elections have consequences. Too bad the voters are the last idiots on the planet to apprehend this! Only 20-30 more years of disastrous SCOTUS rulings to go before there’s even hope of changing the Court’s composition! You did this to yourselves! Welcome to stupid America! It never ends!

There is an ironic twist in all this. Russia relies on the very natural resource to support its economy and war effort that is the same pollutant causing global warming, making Russia’s threat to turn Europe into an ice box this winter meaningless. Putin’s natural gas leverage is now nonexistent, as the world—and, most importantly, Europe—no longer needs Russian gas. But what matters is that the end is in sight. Never again will Putin be in a position to cause such chaos and disturbance in the global economy, because he has permanently weakened Russia’s most powerful hand—its energy and commodities might—beyond repair. The war on the battlefield is still being fought, but on the economic front at least, victory is in sight.”

Indeed, this is an unforeseen reality that many may not have predicted: Russia’s threats of economic terrorism against the world have all come to naught! Imagine that! When the world needs something, it finds new markets that aren’t in Russia. Moreover, economies tend to become more efficient in the absence of a resource; without access to gas and oil, then more people and governments shift to renewables or simply use less. And converting to renewables sooner just means a quicker decline in the wealth of the “gas station” that is Russia. Also, with warmer winters, less demand for heating gas means diminished wealth for Russia. We’ll see how prescient the author of the article above is. Does this last? The West should be twisting the economic knife in the back of Russia. I was skeptical that sanctions were strong enough and extensive enough. Now, the West must make sure that they are even more so, given this new evidence. End Russia now! Slava Ukraini!
