Once again, allow myself to congratulate myself for warning all you morons out there that Dictator Don would get the cabinet picks he wanted come hell or high water. It would appear, in either case, Senators — RepubliKKKlans and dumbass Democrats alike — were more than willing to give The Don! precisely what he wanted. To be sure, all of his new heads of the Intelligence Agencies, Health and Human Services, Department of Defense, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are dangerous sycophants, but the one that will likely do the most visible damage the quickest is newly confirmed Kash Patel, who will — I promise you — re-imagine the FBI into America’s Gestapo. Arguably, Director Hoover beat Patel to the punch during his reign, but I have a feeling Darky Himmler will best the Hoover years. This guy is the absolute manifestation of Dictator Don’s vengeance administration, as promised. But this is how it all starts. This is how democracies morph into autocracies. It starts with establishing a police state that disappears people, harasses political opponents, or simply concentrates the “others” in “re-education” “camps.”
