We’re four days from midterms in America, and I have no doubt Americans will fail the world because we’re morons. Let’s not pretend that these upcoming elections will not have worldwide consequences, chief among them the war in Ukraine. Of course, that has always been the problem with Americans: Their ignorance and selfishness know no bounds! Like it or not, Americans have a responsibility to democracies around the world, but they are too stupid to apprehend this, which brings me to Biden’s speech.
Once again, Biden spoke to America about the threat to democracy here at home, and I fear it most fell on deaf ears, for Democrats already understand the danger — though perhaps not urgently enough — and RepubliKKKlans don’t care and Independents are worrying about their 401Ks and not much else. Oh, well. Welcome to stupid America!
