According to The Hill, “President Trump signed a memo on Wednesday to prepare a massive facility at Guantánamo Bay to be used to house deported migrants. The memo will direct the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security to prepare a 30,000-person migrant facility at Guantánamo Bay, a facility in Cuba that has been used to house military prisoners, including several involved in the 9/11 attacks.” And so it begins! Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) said President Trump’s first week in office was filled with ‘crickets’ from Democrats who he claims did very little to oppose new executive actions. ‘I’ll be honest, this week there was more to destroy the rule of law than in trumps first term,’ Kinzinger wrote in a Tuesday statement on the social media platform X. ‘And I have no idea what the Democrats are doing to fight back. Or even saying,’ he continued. ‘Crickets.’”

Hold a workshop on how to complicate what should be simple, pithy messages with erudite, lengthy explanations? How about a writing workshop on how to craft the perfectly pusillanimous “strongly worded” letter to Dictator Don? Hold a seminar on how to be a more feckless political fighter? Present the weakest lawmaker of the week award? Sensitivity training so as not to upset Dictator Don, RepubliKKKlans, MAGA morons, et al.? How dumbass Democrats can avoid letting their base influence their inability to fight? I’m sure idiot Schumer will hold a lecture on 50 ways to use the word “shame” and its derivatives to limply “attack” RepubliKKKlans. If they could put together a long-term strategy to win against a convicted felon who orchestrated an insurrection against the federal government, then they would have done so last November. As I’ve said in previous posts, if Democrats lost the presidential election, then it would be that party that needed to be torn down and rebuilt. We’re not yet at the point where Democrats understand this; they’re still trying to convey some sense of cohesion and fight, but it will never come.

I will give you a case in point. Michigan Senator Gary Peters says he will not run for re-election in 2026. So, this guy has zero f***s to give, but what does he do as he has one foot out the door? He votes to confirm DHS Secretary Kristi Noem. WTF?!?! This is classic dumbass Democrat weakness. They can’t muster the courage to oppose The Don! whenever possible, even when he or she has no intention of remaining in the Senate. So, yeah, I have no confidence that anything this party does will be effective. We’re f***ed. Unless and until the Democratic Party of dumbasses recreates itself, then RepubliKKKlans will reign supreme. An emergency meeting is not going to fix anything. It’s a Band-Aid on an amputated arm. Watching the stock market react to certain events is amusing, especially when the market is in full-on schizophrenia mode. It’s almost laughable at this point that such “brilliant” “experts” on Wall Street are so easily duped by China. The selloff in the stock market is because investors are spooked by the nascent popularity of DeepSeek in the Apple Store, its alleged “$6 million” cost, and its creation in just “two months,” if this Chinese startup is to be believed because, of course, China never lies or makes ridiculous claims. Have the morons on Wall Street forgotten this is China we’re talking about? Yeah, I guess if I stole someone else’s technology and intellectual property, I could copy an AI platform for a fraction of the expense and time. This is clearly what happened. Just like everything else China does, they steal Western technology, wrap it up in a bow, and present it to the rest of the world as something new and exciting. They’ve been doing this for years. And what’s more pathetic is the world lets them. Moreover, the West rewards China for stealing its technology, firm secrets, and, worse, state secrets by giving it more business. The average American moron, in particular, is most culpable. Look to TikTok as an example. People downloading this DeepSeek app are just asking to have all their information vacuumed up and reported back directly to the CCP. What a joke! Americans are willing to hand over their personal information and everything else about their lives to China without thinking twice because it is cheap! and unique! and exhilarating! And Wall Street has a freakout! God! F*** me! Only in trump stupid America!

There was also widespread confusion over how the memo would be implemented and whether it would face legal challenges. … The brief memo also does not detail all payments that will be halted. However, it broadly orders federal agencies to ‘temporarily’ stop sending federal financial assistance that could be affected by Trump’s executive actions.” And directly from the memo, “In Fiscal Year 2024, of the nearly $10 trillion that the Federal Government spent, more than $3 trillion was Federal financial assistance, such as grants and loans.”

Most of these funds will be turned off permanently or redirected to red states, leaving blue states poorer and suffering. It is no coincidence that the memo calls out $3 trillion in federal spending. If they target trillions of dollars in cut funding — even for 90 days — it will put America into a recession. Full stop, f***tards! Once these financial spigots are turned off, it’s not easy to simply restart the flow of funds again. It’s always easier to stop a thing than start a thing. But whatever! This is what people voted for, and no one f***ing cares.

This latest international episode with The Don! acting like a bull in a china shop revealed a second-order consequence: China is ready to step into the power vacuum that Dictator Don leaves in the wake of his disastrous policies and mercurial nature. While he threatened allies with tariffs and other sanctions, China made it clear that they would gladly become friendlier with those spurned countries or at least better trading partners. Of course, leave it to Dictator Don — the dumbest president we’ve ever had, now twice! — to force friendly countries into the welcoming bosom of China. I thought China was supposed to be our adversary, but The Don! is just giving other countries daily reasons to work with China more so than with the U.S. We’ve now become an unpredictable country that no one can rely on, let alone figure out. From NBC News, “In response to Trump’s retaliatory measures following Colombia’s decision to turn around deportation flights, Petro has announced a 25% tariff on all imports from the United States. Petro said the government will also help direct Colombian exports to the rest of the world other than the United States. ‘American products whose price will rise within the national economy must be replaced by national products, and the government will help in this regard,’ Petro said on X.” Wow. I must admit that I’m pleasantly surprised that Colombia retaliated so quickly, if at all! I had just posted that I did not think nations would have the cajones to stand up to Dictator Don! Well, I guess at least one national leader does. Good on Petro! He’s not afraid to give as good as he gets! Bravo! Apparently, the Colombian President has one more brass ball than dumbass Democrats and two more than RepubliKKKlans! (We’ll see if other countries are similarly courageous. I won’t hold my breath, but at least the seal has been broken.)

He said the US will impose a travel ban and ‘immediate visa revocations’ on Colombian government officials, as well as its allies and supporters. Trump also said there would be visa sanctions on supporters of the Colombian government, and enhanced customs and border protection inspections ‘of all Colombian nationals and cargo on national security grounds[.]’”

According to The Guardian, “Donald Trump fired 17 independent watchdogs at multiple US government agencies on Friday, a person with knowledge of the matter said, eliminating a critical oversight component and clearing the way for the president to replace them with loyalists. The inspectors general at agencies including the departments of state, defense and transportation were notified by emails from the White House personnel director that they had been terminated immediately, the source said on condition of anonymity. The dismissals appeared to violate federal law, which requires the president to give both houses of Congress reasons for the dismissals 30 days in advance. … An inspector general is an independent position that conducts audits and investigations into allegations of waste, fraud and abuse of power.”
