I’m Regretting My Vote for Biden Already — F*** Me!

From Salon, “Unfortunately, Biden is living up to every stereotype of the quisling Democrat and taking this advice seriously. Reports suggest that in the interest of national ‘unity,’ Biden is discouraging the idea of prosecuting Trump. … This pattern — Republicans screw everything up and are allowed to get away with it in the name of ‘unity,’ and take that as permission to go even further the next time — has been playing out since Richard Nixon first snagged his post-Watergate pardon. … Of course not. And that’s the problem we’re facing. The ‘unity’ isn’t unity at all. It’s a fake unity in which one side — the side that did not cause the damage wrought by Trump or Bush or Reagan or Nixon — does all the work, while the other side keeps looking for new opportunities to cause trouble. If anything, conservatives grows ever bolder in their corruption, realizing they will never face consequences for their actions, and in fact can count on the left to clean up all their messes for them.”

The article goes on to prove the point by quoting Jonathan Mahler, “When President George H.W. Bush pardoned six Reagan White House officials who were involved in the Iran-contra affair, he warned of ‘a profoundly troubling development in the political and legal climate of our country: the criminalization of policy differences.’ Bush was sparing members of his own party. President Obama created what is perhaps an even more relevant precedent for Biden by choosing not to prosecute members of the George W. Bush administration who had authorized the unlawful torture of detainees; his nominee for attorney general, Eric Holder, used the very same phrase — the criminalization of policy differences — when the issue came up during a 2009 congressional hearing.”

Well-versed arguments like the above infuriate me all over again, and right on cue, Biden has been signaling his pusillanimous intentions to place unity over accountability. As usual, dumbass Democrats can’t chew gum and walk at the same time. Moreover, dumbass Democrats are too short-sighted to understand that another RepubliKKKlan administration that goes unpunished only encourages and emboldens the next criminal RepubliKKKlan administration and strengthens the resistance of the RepubliKKKlan Senate and soon to be RepubliKKKlan House (in two years). Whatever! I give up! Democrats come into office to clean up the f***ing mess left behind by RepubliKKKlans only to have voters kick them out of office once they put the economy back on track because you know — the RepubliKKKlans are “good for the economy,” nevermind that’s always Democrats that have to fix things. Welcome to stupid America! And I thought I would have little to write about with a traitor trump loss. The stupid is endless and everywhere! Democrats are weak, and that’s why they may have won the presidency but lost everywhere else — at the federal, state, and local levels. It never f***ing fails. Never! Get Ready for Religious Tyranny

From CNN, “In a 5-4 ruling, the US Supreme Court sided with religious organizations in a dispute over Covid-19 restrictions put in place by New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo limiting the number of people attending religious services.” So, if a pandemic is not sufficient justification to temporarily “restrict” religious liberty in the name of society’s general health then nothing is off-limits. And the term “restrictions” is hardly apt in this case, although it seems to be the charge used by the court. Limiting capacity at church or synagogue services is hardly an imposition that somehow dissuades the faithful from their beliefs. The government is not telling what religions may or may not believe. The court criticized Cuomo’s regulation as “singl[ing] out houses of worship for especially harsh treatment” by citing that houses of worship that can accommodate up to 700 and 1000 must be restricted to 10 or 25 people depending on which level of infection zone (“orange” or “red”) such houses or worship reside. Yes, I agree this seems excessively “restrictive” and even Cuomo agreed by changing the regulation to 50 percent capacity. While Chief Justice Roberts sided with the liberal wing of the court arguing the case was now moot because Cuomo changed the policy, the conservatives rendered an opinion anyway, and therein is the real problem. What happens if churches or synagogues seek injunctive relief because 50 percent is too “restrictive” as the pandemic worsens? Why should (why would) a conservative court find 50 percent to be an acceptable — no doubt arbitrary — threshold? In short, the court has set a standard that not even public health is a defense to some, short-term “restrictions” on religious liberty. Thus, opens the flood gates where anything and everything will be permissible in the defense of religious liberty, including discrimination against anyone who is deemed the “other.”

So, I say bring it. Bring it all! Americans have been living far too long — especially dumbass Democrats — in the misguided belief that SCOTUS is not important and that our rights cannot regress. Tell that to the next gay couple — or inter-racial couple for that matter — who will be denied services in the name of religious liberty. Those same “cake” cases will resurface and win handily in this SCOTUS. It has been a long time coming. Wake up America! Get ready for all the things that will be allowed in the name of religious liberty; I only hope dumbass Democrats and progressives fight back because such arguments cut both ways. Welcome to stupid America. Every SCOTUS ruling will be downhill from here, and you did this!

‘I Screwed Up’

What a mess!’ Koch writes. ‘[P]artisan politics prevented us from achieving the thing that motivated us to get involved in politics in the first place — helping people by removing barriers. … I was slow to react to this fact, letting us head down the wrong road for the better part of a decade.’ … And yet, the spending continues. Americans for Prosperity Action, the Koch network’s super PAC, is pouring hundreds of thousands of dollars into Georgia, where twin Senate runoffs Jan. 5 will determine control of the U.S. Senate.”

That’s all he has to say for himself? He screwed up!?!? Un-f***ing-believable. Talk about people who just can’t f***ing die soon enough! What the f*** did he think would happen by feeding the RepubliKKKlan partisan political machine billions of dollars under the guise of empowering personal responsibility, removing protective barriers (aka laws and social norms), advancing that American “entrepreneurial” drive (destroyers, not builders), and promoting “free” (more like consequence-free) speech? All of which is just code for allowing people to believe that they can do whatever the f*** they want while promoting the misguided belief that the “free” (rigged) market will inherently bring balance to systems when, in fact, a “free” market only destroys equitable opportunities and exacerbates the problems between the “haves” and the “have-nots.” It’s all code for promoting predatory capitalism in the name of “prosperity,” and the Koch brothers have always promoted this movement that disadvantages the working class: undermining labor rights, ignoring or working against climate change, advancing laws and regulations that hold corporations blameless, etc. It’s all code for living by no common rules, only the rule of personal responsibility, which is all f***ing B.S. because at some point the desire for such “self” power, “self” rule engenders an imbalance in the collective “personal responsibility” whereby corporations — “Corporations are people, my friend” — are allowed to be held completely unaccountable as they create and control the rules of the road — the laws — that only benefit themselves and actively disadvantage others; there is no such thing as the “free market.” Naturally, when a nation of individuals believes in such unregulated “self” rule then society has no problem with corporations being held to the same destructive lower standard of “self” accountability as people, my friend! It’s called deregulation and conflict-of-interest self-dealings sanctioned by illiberal (RepubliKKKlan) governments and states. Look where America is as a result.

A NY Daily News headline reads: “Grand opening of Colorado In-N-Out burger joint sparks traffic jams, parking lot brawls and 14-hour wait times.” Of course! A pandemic rages across the globe. Traitor trump is still trying to steal the 2020 election. Biden is being blocked from starting his transition to power, which includes, among many things, being barred from getting national security briefings, being disallowed to receive information about vaccination preparation, and being denied background checks for his administration picks! In short, democracy is barely holding it together, but people need their m*****f***ing G.D. fast food fix. F*** me! I give up. I hate the stupid, and it’s everywhere! Wow! They Actually Did Vote This Time! A First!

It appears the long-awaited moment when the youth vote would actually turn out to vote has actually come to pass. Election cycle after election cycle pollsters and pundits have repeatedly predicted that the youth vote will turn out in enough numbers to impact the election in favor of Democrats, and time after time those numbers never materialized; however, this year looks to be different as The Hill reports, “More than half of all voters under the age of 30 cast a ballot in this year’s elections, an unprecedented level of engagement that likely cemented President-elect Joe Biden’s Electoral College victory in critical swing states. … Four years ago, the center estimated that between 42 percent and 44 percent in that same group cast a ballot. Even in 2008, when young adults turned out at record levels to back then-candidate Barack Obama, those records hovered around 48 percent.” I’m shocked. Truly! Welcome to stupid America?

I Keep Telling You F***tards!

From The Hill, “Some of the smartest minds in Democratic politics see warning signs for their party even as they celebrate President-elect Joe Biden’s victory over President Trump. While Biden’s advantage in the popular vote this year is nearing 6 million, some liberal political experts are disconcerted by demographic trends that they say look unexpectedly difficult for their party. Two in particular come up over and over again: A weaker than expected performance among Latino voters this year, and continued GOP strength among white voters who don’t have a college education.” How many times have I said it? How many times?!?! Demographics are not going to save the m*****f***ing G.D. Democratic Party! F*** me!

Allow me to focus on one point from the above quote, namely whites without a college degree. (And I’m not counting Associate’s degree because attaining that level of education is garbage; it is a worthless degree and really only indicates one was unable to achieve a Bachelor’s because the first two years were difficult enough — means and opportunity challenged individuals excluded.) The table below indicates 67 percent of the population (aged 25+) is white non-college-educated. So, the vast majority of the largest race segment of the American population are uneducated morons, perhaps with a few exceptions! And people wonder how and why traitor trump won in the first place and remains the most popular RepubliKKKlan in American history! It’s the stupid, stupid! And don’t get me started on college “educated” people who support traitor trump. Clearly, such individuals did not get an education, especially in the skill of critical thinking. I assume they faked and lied their way through college. What do you call someone who graduated at the bottom of their class from medical school? Doctor! Enough said!

Of Course, He Never Wanted the Job

From a fascinating article in the New York Magazine, “This person, who speaks to the president often — or, more accurately, who listens and says uh-huh as the president speaks — said that Trump is not just done for, but done. ‘He wants to lose. He likes showing people around the White House, but the actual day-to-day business of being president? It’s been pretty unpleasant for him. … He’s afraid. He’s the most insecure, afraid person ever. He’s too afraid to be president. He’s afraid to exercise power. He’s afraid to do the job. It’s why he’s overbearing and crazy — he sabotages himself constantly because he hates himself and wants out. He’s always trying to hurt himself. That guy commits more self-harm than anyone I’ve ever encountered.’”

SCOTUS and the ACA

I opined a while ago about which justice wanted to be known as that guy who killed the Affordable Care Act. I further suggested at least one more needed conservative would not hesitate to be that guy; perhaps, I was wrong — again, I will readily admit that it is far better to instill fear than hope. Maybe — just maybe — Kavanaugh is inclined to let the entire law stand based on what he signaled in oral arguments, though one must note comments and questions during oral arguments is not a definitively rendered opinion. It is still all speculation.

But I think Roberts nailed the central argument succinctly by stating, “I think it’s hard for you to argue that Congress intended the entire act to fall if the mandate was struck down when the same Congress that lowered the penalty to zero did not even try to repeal the rest of the act. I think, frankly, that they wanted the court to do that, but that’s not our job.” This is at the heart of the matter. Congress tried dozens of times to kill the law in its entirety and failed, and when RepubliKKKlans were able to muster the majority in Congress to kill the law they were only able to change the law by reducing the mandate penalty to zero dollars. In short, they waived any penalty for not complying with the mandate to buy health insurance. It is a “requirement” without consequences which really is no mandate at all. Yet, they left the rest of the law fully intact — on purpose! So, if the conservative justices are the true “textualists” that they claim to be and do not wish to read into the intent of Congress, then every single conservative justice should agree with an opinion that allows the law to stand, notwithstanding any argument about severability because in the end Congress had many, many opportunities to strick down the law but never did so. Thus, the law must remain as is. In fact, I’m not sure why severability is even a consideration in this case. If Congress wants to create or change a law to “mandate” something that has no penalty or even if they wanted to impose a one dollar penalty for not buy health insurance then so what? That is Congress’s prerogative, no matter how feckless the “penalty” is or is not. It is just my opinion as a layman, but I think the argument is rather straightforward. A zero dollar penalty is just that — no penalty and not an indication that the entire law is invalid. Oh, I can’t wait to read the opinions from those justices that argue the entire law is null and void.
