From the Advocate, “California Gov. Gavin Newsom has tapped out Democratic strategist Laphonza Butler to fill the Senate seat held by Dianne Feinstein, who died on Friday. Butler will now be the first LGBTQ+ person of color to serve in the U.S. Senate. She will serve the remainder of Feinstein’s term, which ends next year.” Newsom is the man not only for the person he appointed but, more importantly, for how quickly he did it. I fully expected dumbass Democrats to require decorum and reverence for Feinstein first. I fully expected idiot Democrats to demand that people should wait after an appropriate amount of time of mourning before filling her seat while claiming that this is not the time for politics. F*** that! Clearly, Newsom had someone in mind before Feinstein died, and he — unlike most other f***tard Democrats — was quick to act! Before she’s even buried! Thank God we have one Democratic leader with f***ing balls. Now, if only the rest of the party could follow in his footsteps. (That’s a pipe dream, I know.) Welcome to stupid America!

I am so f***ing confused. McCarthy wonders why RepubliKKKlans want to burn the place down. Really? Is he being serious? Did I suddenly wake up from a coma after 20 years? Did I fall down and hit my head? Do I have a concussion that I don’t know about? Am I living on Earth I or Earth II? I’m not sure why McCarthy should be surprised. RepubliKKKlans are doing exactly what they do best: Nothing, perhaps more specifically, bringing chaos to the government. But this is what f***tard voters wanted. Schumer provoked an uproar in Washington this week by announcing senators could wear whatever they want on the Senate floor.” So, Schumer — the worst Democratic leader of the Senate in history — further proves he’s a f***ing G.D. moron and has no issue providing fodder to RepubliKKKlans that Democrats really do focus on the trivial, which, of course, is still better than being a party of insurrectionists and fascists (aka RepubliKKKlans). But he doesn’t help himself or the Democrats when he goes rogue with the dress code.

Now, I like Fetterman as much as the next guy, but he “applied” and got the job at the Senate, which had a particular dress code before he won, so he knew the expectations. And I’m sorry, but Schumer should not be changing the dress code to accommodate one person who always wants to wear shorts and a hoodie. This is a no-brainer. Call me an old grumpy man. And don’t start with this Everyman B.S. excuse. The notion that Average Working Man Joe might like and appreciate Fetterman showing up to work at the Senate looking like a slob is a non-starter. Let me ask you this: If the Average Working Man Joe’s lawyer showed up to court representing him in a divorce, custody, criminal, or traffic matter in shorts, a hoodie, and gym shoes, would Average Joe be copacetic with that? I doubt it.

So, I guess Putin was right all along. He hoped the Western alliance would eventually crack, though not as quickly as he wanted. But it seems after nearly two years of supporting Ukraine, N.A.T.O. and the Western allies have started to move on, reverting to isolationism and appeasement because I live in stupid f***ing hell. I see the cracks all around.

Here is the latest emerging fissure, according to N.B.C. News: “Poland is no longer arming Ukraine as it is focusing on building up its own stocks of weapons, the prime minister said on Wednesday, as Warsaw’s stance toward Kyiv shifts just weeks before an election. Poland is only carrying out previously agreed arms deliveries to Ukraine, a government spokesman said on Thursday, amid souring bilateral relations due to a grain dispute just weeks before a Polish parliamentary election. … Poland holds a parliamentary election on Oct. 15, and the ruling nationalist Law and Justice (PiS) party has come in for criticism from the far right for what it says is the government’s subservient attitude to Ukraine. The Confederation party, which has given voice to anti-Ukrainian sentiments, is third in many polls and has emerged as a possible kingmaker. Analysts say PiS’s tougher rhetoric on Ukraine is a response to Confederation’s increasing popularity. Marek Swierczynski, a defense analyst at think-tank Polityka Insight said that while it was probably true that Poland currently had no more weapons to give to Ukraine, Morawiecki must have known that the timing of his comments meant they would land ‘like a grenade into a cesspit.’”

This announcement is undoubtedly partly political, given the upcoming election in Poland, but the same thing is playing out in the U.S. The RepubliKKKlan Patry, when it was in the minority, sided with Ukraine, but now that they control the House, RepubliKKKlans are withdrawing their support and questioning the significance and need to help Ukraine. Then we have the no-shows by the heads of state from Britain and France at the U.N. when Zelenskyy spoke. (I guess King Charles was visiting France at the time.) Nonetheless, the optics are disastrous. All this is, of course, because the Western allies never took Russia’s illegal war on Ukraine seriously. For the last two years, idiot leaders have been dolling out military and humanitarian support like a strict allowance being reluctantly given up by a wealthy parent because the child was insufficiently supine when begging “for more, please.” (And they wonder why Ukraine is having difficulty pushing back Russia.) I’ve been saying this from the beginning: The Allies have failed to mobilize! While Biden has done an admirable job bringing all the member nations of N.A.T.O. and those other Allied countries together, they have all failed to put their economies on a war footing, which is the only way to help and supply Ukraine for the long term. Even the U.S. failed to do so. Consequently, according to some articles I’ve read, we are short on munitions, which will take over a year to replenish because — again — Biden did not put us on a war footing. So f***ing weak. But whatever! It’s just democracy dying worldwide, so who really cares?

Oh, sure. The West had correctly talked a good game about Russia upending the world order and warning that Putin will not stop at the Ukrainian borders. Yet, it seems that was just all smack-talk because Allied actions do not reflect such sentiments. Have these moronic leaders of democratic nations not realized — still to this day — that the world war has already started when Russia renewed and expanded its invasion of Ukraine? The West should have recognized the red flags when Putin invaded Ukraine in 2014. But no! Weak Obama and the rest let it happen — consequence-free.

Moreover, Zelenskyy is absolutely correct in criticizing the West for insufficiently selling the need to help Ukraine. This goes for Biden in particular. Biden’s address to the U.N. on the dangers of expanding authoritarianism worldwide to the detriment of democracies is not enough! Biden’s secret fundraiser speech about the risks of rising authoritarianism is leadership malpractice. I’m sorry, but Biden needs to be scaring the bejesus out of Americans daily about how Russia is coming to our borders. This on-again, off-again Dark Brandon is not enough and is rather pathetic. (I want Dark Brandon all the time!) There is no such thing as a part-time war. So, Biden has failed to sell the war, and he has failed to mobilize — imagine that. (And people wonder why his approval ratings are in the toilet; we need a forceful leader, not a once-in-a-while Commander-in-Chief. Yes, even Democrats desire strength in their leader!)

So, here we are nearly a decade after Russia’s initial invasion of Ukraine, and the West has learned nothing, nor do they remember recent history. Russia’s aggression is like the Nazis rolling over the Rhineland, the Sudetenland, and, eventually, all of Czechoslovakia while the Allies wring their hands, hoping things don’t get worse. Kill me now! Humanity never f***ing learns. Oh, well. It’s about to get much worse before it gets better. Or, perhaps the words of John McCain are more fitting: It’s always darkest just before it goes totally black. Welcome to stupid humanity!

I recently watched a couple of American Experience programs, “The Harvest: Integrating Mississippi’s Schools” and “The Busing Battleground.” The first program was about school segregation in the South, and the second was about school segregation in the North, namely in Boston, Massachusettes. Both issues took place in the 1970s, with roots of the problem steeped in the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960s. What struck me about these two episodes is the turmoil of that period in American history and how much nothing has changed for the better. If anything, America is regressing. I could not help but think that sh*t really hit the fan in those decades. Indeed, I wondered if today’s problems are any worse than during the counterculture revolution of the 1960s. The short answer: Not yet, but it will be. The early 2020s are equivalent to the 1850s before the Civil War and the 1950s before the Civil Rights movement. The burning question begs, What is the forthcoming movement to break America in two? I submit the movement is American Fascism! To be sure, the three eras are not entirely the same. I mean, we haven’t had a president assassinated (à la Lincoln and JFK) in the present time — yet. Nor have we had civil rights advocates and politicians assassinated (à la MLK and RFK) during this emerging American Fascism movement — yet. We do have one first: An insurrection led by a former president and the leader of the RepubliKKKlan Party, who also has a 50-50 chance of winning again. But the past does inform what we can expect. At the same time, we haven’t reached the tumult of the 1850s or the 1960s — yet — but we are just one flashpoint (à la the Fort Sumter attack or Brown v. Board ruling) away. Welcome to stupid America!

According to Reuters, “Republicans who control the U.S. House of Representatives failed to advance two spending bills on Tuesday, as party infighting threatened the ability of Congress to fund the government and avert a partial shutdown at the end of the month. The House voted 214-212 to defeat a measure that would have opened debate on an $886 billion fiscal 2024 defense appropriations bill, with five hardline Republican conservatives joining Democrats to oppose their party’s own measure.”

Why is this happening? Look in the f***ing mirror, a**holes. Unlike others who blame RepubliKKKlans solely for this mess, I blame voters, too, because I live in stupid f***ing hell. This happens every f***ing time. Every time, because Americans are a bunch of f***tards who know nothing and understand nothing. What the f*** did voters think would happen by giving RepubliKKKlan control of the House? Were idiot Americans expecting cooperation? Were they expecting some sort of mass reconciliation between the parties? Were they hoping for leadership from the RepubliKKKlan Party? Truly, are Americans that f***ing stupid and naive? Apparently! All of this dysfunction was utterly predictable! Everyone — except moronic RepubliKKKlan voters — saw this coming, or perhaps this is what voters actually intended. I wouldn’t put it past f***tard voters. The RepubliKKKlan Party is the party of chaos, and people love it. As I keep saying, people get the government they deserve and desire, and they’re about to get a government shutdown — and they love it because I live in stupid hell.

I say bring it! It seems the only way morons of America ever learn anything — if they are capable — is to touch the hot stove repeatedly. We’ve been through this numerous times, all at the hands of RepubliKKKlans who keep asserting government shutdowns help their cause, and to some extent, they are correct because it certainly doesn’t hurt their re-election prospects in the long term. They keep getting re-elected. Moreover, I don’t think Democrats should lift one G.D. finger to help RepubliKKKlans, especially after they opened an impeachment inquiry into Biden. F*** that and f*** them! Conservatives were voted into power to “lead,” so let them lead — fecklessly. Let them burn it down because I guess idiot Americans need to be reminded that RepubliKKKlans can’t govern — don’t want to govern — again. Now, Eigel “claims” they were only cardboard boxes. (But he would be happy to burn books!) So I really don’t care what he says he wasn’t burning, for the intention — explicitly stated by Eigel himself — is to burn books, which takes us right back to 1930s Nazi Germany. I know, I know. The references to the Nazis are perhaps overdone, hyperbolic, and trite at this point. But the comparison is no less valid. Indeed, nothing under the Sun is new. Before the Nazis made hate and ignorance fashionable, I’m sure there were some references to a historical era that right-thinking people made in comparison to the German and Italian fascists. Hate is not new. Ignorance is not new. Stupidity is definitely not new. What’s new is the date and technology. Although, good ole burning of burns seems to be a favorite low-tech standby.

Of course, the images above remind me of the well-warn quote by Heinrich Heine in his play Almansor (1821), “Das war ein Vorspiel nur, dort wo man Bücher verbrennt, verbrennt man auch am Ende Menschen.” (That [burning of the Quran] was but a prelude; where they burn books, they will ultimately burn men as well.) This latest story from ABC says everything one needs to know, “One of former President Donald Trump’s long-time assistants told federal investigators that Trump repeatedly wrote to-do lists for her on documents from the White House that were marked classified, according to sources familiar with her statements. As described to ABC News, the aide, Molly Michael, told investigators that — more than once — she received requests or taskings from Trump that were written on the back of notecards, and she later recognized those notecards as sensitive White House materials — with visible classification markings — used to brief Trump while he was still in office about phone calls with foreign leaders or other international-related matters.”

This! This from a guy who led chants of “lock her up” for Hillary’s mishandling of electronic classified documents. Yet, traitor trump has such little regard for handling classified documents that he steals them and then uses America’s secrets as scrap paper for honey to-do lists. And no one f***ing cares because traitor trump is still tied with Biden — pick a poll, any f***ing poll — after all his indictments. This is what riles me up more than anything. And if I have to hear one more f***ing G.D. moronic MSM political pundit — or dumbass Democract — claim that these polls are still too “early” to be reliable, then I’m going to lose my f***ing G.D. mind! I don’t give one G.D. f*** how early these polls are or how little attention these political pundits claim people are paying to the presidential race at this point. The timing doesn’t matter. People are still making choices in these polls based on — I assume — their experience and “knowledge” at the moment. And voters consistently keep indicating that they don’t f***ing care; Biden and traitor trump are the same to these morons of the highest f***ing order despite four years of living under the traitor trump administration’s chaos and nearly four years of traitor trump’s criming after he’s been out of office. Un-f***ing-believable!

It is incomprehensible to me that given everything traitor trump has done over the last seven years, MSM and political pundits claim voters are “tuned” out enough not to fully comprehend the consequences of electing him again.
