America, and the courts in particular, are incapable and unwilling to hold traitor trump accountable because they all treat him (improperly) as being above the law. Unfortunately, America’s notion of being a nation “not of men but of laws” is a farce and has been from its inception. Of course, many minority groups have long understood this, and so have the poor, but in all these high-profile cases involving traitor trump, the stark differences between the treatment of the dictator wannabe and everyone else are manifest. Granted, America is a nation of laws more than most others, but even that once lauded distinction is losing its truth at face value.

What has my ire this time? Reading from The Guardian, “Barely an hour after a gag order prohibiting Donald Trump from commenting about court staff at his civil fraud trial in New York was temporarily lifted, he was at it again – unleashing a blitzkrieg of social media outrage at a clerk who has become the lightning rod for the former president’s rage. On Thursday afternoon a New York appeals court judge, David Friedman, paused a gag order that had been placed on Trump last month. The move opened a window through which Trump could vent his unrestrained feelings. … At an emergency hearing on Thursday, however, Friedman, sitting in New York state’s intermediate appeals court, found that Trump’s First Amendment right to free speech was of prime importance. He stayed the gag order.”

Part of the problem with everyone in this sh*t-for-brains country is that citizens think all speech is free and that the First Amendment is not absolute and without limit. This, of course, is not true. While political speech may be considered the freest form of speech, for an indicted criminal such as traitor trump, his freedoms — by the very dint of his status as someone out on bail — are and can be restricted, especially if his free speech relates to trial interference. This is true for anyone with a criminal indictment. But not traitor trump! Oh, no! Courts and judges are bending over backward to ensure he is being treated fairly and like any “other man” by granting him favors and status that no other man would be afforded. In trying to show traitor trump no favoritism over the man on the street, the courts are doing precisely that: Showing him favor! The contraction is blatant, disturbing, and disgusting. I should have expected nothing less. But, alas, no one cares because I live in stupid f***ing hell. The courts are going to slow-walk, pamper, and soft-glove the application of justice to traitor trump and, in so doing, hand the country over to a fascist, all because judges wanted to make sure not to hurt traitor trump’s feelings or trample on his (non-existent) right to interfere with his own trails. The article below from The Economist is so good that I posted the entire thing. (I have a hack for getting articles behind a paywall that usually works depending on the site, but you need quick fingers on the keyboard.) I will offer my comments upfront. So! Looks like the rest of the world is finally catching on to the notion that a traitor trump second term is a real possibility. (Dare I say, a near certainty given all the third-party candidates.) It appears the planet is waking up and bracing for a political world order completely set on fire. The world understands! The world is anxious! The world is in a state of impending dread! But do you know who is none of these things? Americans! How is it everyone else on the globe understands the dangers of another traitor trump presidency — including Russia and China that welcome the menace — except Americans? Un-f***ing-believable! Everyone is waking up to the idea that a fascist America will lead to the crumbling of the world order of democratic countries except sh*t-for-brains Americans, who are just too f***ing G.D. stupid to apprehend the danger as it stares them in the f***ing face. Sadly, most Americans fail to understand our global standing and responsibility. We are supposed to be the great defender of democracy across the world. For all of our flaws and the imperfections of democracy, it is still the best form of government. But morons of America comprehend none of this. F***tard Americas, while they should think locally, must also vote with a global mindset because we must be leaders of democracy. But no! As I have repeatedly said, Americans really could care less about democracy, and they would gladly trade it in for fascism if it gets them a few more bucks in their wallet. A shadow looms over the world. In this week’s edition we publish The World Ahead 2024, our 38th annual predictive guide to the coming year, and in all that time no single person has ever eclipsed our analysis as much as Donald Trump eclipses 2024. That a Trump victory next November is a coin-toss probability is beginning to sink in.

Mr Trump dominates the Republican primary. Several polls have him ahead of President Joe Biden in swing states. In one, for the New York Times, 59% of voters trusted him on the economy, compared with just 37% for Mr Biden. In the primaries, at least, civil lawsuits and criminal prosecutions have only strengthened Mr Trump. For decades Democrats have relied on support among black and Hispanic voters, but a meaningful number are abandoning the party. In the next 12 months a stumble by either candidate could determine the race—and thus upend the world.

This is a perilous moment for a man like Mr Trump to be back knocking on the door of the Oval Office. Democracy is in trouble at home. Mr Trump’s claim to have won the election in 2020 was more than a lie: it was a cynical bet that he could manipulate and intimidate his compatriots, and it has worked. America also faces growing hostility abroad, challenged by Russia in Ukraine, by Iran and its allied militias in the Middle East and by China across the Taiwan Strait and in the South China Sea. Those three countries loosely co-ordinate their efforts and share a vision of a new international order in which might is right and autocrats are secure.

Because MAGA Republicans have been planning his second term for months, Trump 2 would be more organised than Trump 1. True believers would occupy the most important positions. Mr Trump would be unbound in his pursuit of retribution, economic protectionism and theatrically extravagant deals. No wonder the prospect of a second Trump term fills the world’s parliaments and boardrooms with despair. But despair is not a plan. It is past time to impose order on anxiety.

The greatest threat Mr Trump poses is to his own country. Having won back power because of his election-denial in 2020, he would surely be affirmed in his gut feeling that only losers allow themselves to be bound by the norms, customs and self-sacrifice that make a nation. In pursuing his enemies, Mr Trump will wage war on any institution that stands in his way, including the courts and the Department of Justice.

Yet a Trump victory next year would also have a profound effect abroad. China and its friends would rejoice over the evidence that American democracy is dysfunctional. If Mr Trump trampled due process and civil rights in the United States, his diplomats could not proclaim them abroad. The global south would be confirmed in its suspicion that American appeals to do what is right are really just an exercise in hypocrisy. America would become just another big power.

Mr Trump’s protectionist instincts would be unbound, too. In his first term the economy thrived despite his China tariffs. His plans for a second term would be more damaging. He and his lieutenants are contemplating a universal 10% levy on imports, more than three times the level today. Even if the Senate reins him in, protectionism justified by an expansive view of national security would increase prices for Americans. Mr Trump also fired up the economy in his first term by cutting taxes and handing out covid-19 payments. This time, America is running budget deficits on a scale only seen in war and the cost of servicing debts is higher. Tax cuts would feed inflation, not growth.

Abroad, Mr Trump’s first term was better than expected. His administration provided weapons to Ukraine, pursued a peace deal between Israel, the UAE and Bahrain, and scared European countries into raising their defence spending. America’s policy towards China became more hawkish. If you squint, another transactional presidency could bring some benefits. Mr Trump’s indifference to human rights might make the Saudi government more biddable once the Gaza war is over, and strengthen relations with Narendra Modi’s government in India.
But a second term would be different, because the world has changed. There is nothing wrong in countries being transactional: they are bound to put their own interests first. However, Mr Trump’s lust for a deal and his sense of America’s interests are unconstrained by reality and unanchored by values.

Mr Trump judges that for America to spend blood and treasure in Europe is a bad deal. He has therefore threatened to end the Ukraine war in a day and to wreck NATO, perhaps by reneging on America’s commitment to treat an attack on one country as an attack on all. In the Middle East Mr Trump is likely to back Israel without reserve, however much that stirs up conflict in the region. In Asia he may be open to doing a deal with China’s president, Xi Jinping, to abandon Taiwan because he cannot see why America would go to war with a nuclear-armed superpower to benefit a tiny island.

But knowing that America would abandon Europe, Mr Putin would have an incentive to fight on in Ukraine and to pick off former Soviet countries such as Moldova or the Baltic states. Without American pressure, Israel is unlikely to generate an internal consensus for peace talks with the Palestinians. Calculating that Mr Trump does not stand by his allies, Japan and South Korea could acquire nuclear weapons. By asserting that America has no global responsibility to help deal with climate change, Mr Trump would crush efforts to slow it. And he is surrounded by China hawks who believe confrontation is the only way to preserve American dominance. Caught between a dealmaking president and his warmongering officials, China could easily miscalculate over Taiwan, with catastrophic consequences.

A second Trump term would be a watershed in a way the first was not. Victory would confirm his most destructive instincts about power. His plans would encounter less resistance. And because America will have voted him in while knowing the worst, its moral authority would decline. The election will be decided by tens of thousands of voters in just a handful of states. In 2024 the fate of the world will depend on their ballots

From Rolling Stone, “In an October prayer call hosted by a Christian-nationalist MAGA pastor, Rep. Mike Johnson was troubled that America’s wickedness was inviting God’s wrath. Talking to pastor Jim Garlow on a broadcast of the World Prayer Network, Johnson spoke ominously of America facing a ‘civilizational moment.’ He said, ‘The only question is: Is God going to allow our nation to enter a time of judgment for our collective sins? … Or is he going to give us one more chance to restore the foundations and return to Him?’ The segment was filmed Oct. 3, just weeks before Johnson’s unexpected rise to become speaker of the House. Garlow pressed the clean-cut Louisiana congressman to say ‘more about this “time of judgment” for America.’ Johnson replied: ‘The culture is so dark and depraved that it almost seems irredeemable.’ He cited, as supposed evidence, the decline of national church attendance and the rise of LGBTQ youth — the fact, Johnson lamented, that ‘one-in-four high school students identifies as something other than straight.’ Discussing the risk of divine retribution, Johnson invoked Sodom, the Old Testament city destroyed by God for its wickedness with a rain of burning sulfur.”

Right on cue! Gays are the new target. Mark my words. And now America has the most fervent gay hatter second in line to the presidency. This, coupled with a theocratic SCOTUS, and I’m telling you, morons of America, are asleep at the f***ing wheel as Christo-fascism takes hold. No one cares because I live in f***ing stupid hell. It is ironic that as Americans allegedly become more secular — or claim to be more so — white Christian nationalism has become more prominent in America and has made more inroads into the highest echelons of political power. So! RepubliKKKlan politicians got physical with each other or wanted to start a fight with a layperson in Congress yesterday. Because that’s where we are in America today. This is traitor trump’s America, and people love it! Indeed, they want more. Just check any recent poll. As The Hill reports, “It began with an accusation that former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) had elbowed Rep. Tim Burchett in the back as the Tennessee Republican, one of eight GOP members who voted to end McCarthy’s Speakership a little more than a month ago, was conducting an interview with a reporter from NPR. Moments later, Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-Okla.), a burly former mixed martial arts fighter, was was challenging Sean O’Brien, president of the Teamsters, to a fight during a hearing before the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee.”

I don’t care if RepubliKKKlans go after each other. Hell! They can all kill each other, and I’ll whip out the popcorn and a beer while I watch. But Senators — most of all — should not be goading witnesses testifying before a Congressional committee into a fight. Apparently, there is a backstory of feuding between those two, but I expect members of the most exclusive club in the world to behave better. I fully expect (and indeed condone) plebeians to act brutishly, for the unwashed masses of citizens will be the ones starting and ending the coming civil war, but as for the political “leadership,” I expect — naively — better.

It is also not lost on me that all this anger and threats of fighting are coming from the RepubliKKKlan Party only. But you know what? This is what voters want! This is why they elected them into office. Everyday moronic Americas are — I tell you! — bored with their daily lives, so they elect these flame-throwing RepubliKKKlans into office to mix things up and to break up the ennui of their pathetic, bland lives. Watching political fighting is the new pastime of idiot Americans. Why do you think traitor trump is so f***ing popular? Because of his policies? (Well, half of America loves his hateful policies.) No! The greater motivation is the entertainment value of the guy. I promise you that the hoards and hoard of f***tard Americans — above all — love traitor trump and indeed show up to the polls to vote for him because of the pure, unadulterated desire to renew the fight club reality T.V. show that is the traitor trump presidency for four more years. Mark my words. Clearly, most Americans are stupid and certainly not politically astute, but they vote anyway. Thus, people make political decisions with their blizzard brain, which is driven by bloodlust, grievances, and revenge, which is everything that traitor trump has promised to deliver. It is that uncomplicated.

Now, I come to my final point, which I must concede is not my own observation. I’m lifting it from someone else, and it is this: Witnessing what happened yesterday among all these men, it is hard to deny that men have a problem controlling their emotions. It is beyond rich that the misogyny runs so deep in the RepubliKKKlan Party, in part, because of an argument men make about women, namely they are too “emotional” to be effective leaders. Hello, pot! Kettle calling! How utterly fantastic! Men accuse women of being too emotional and consequently unworthy to be in any leading part of society, as those same men can’t contain their own emotions. Only the RepubliKKKlan Party can run on such hypocrisy and toxic masculinity, becoming more popular and win elections. Only in stupid America! This! This is what a dying country looks like!

So, more RepubliKKKlan government dysfunction is on full display, and no one f***ing cares because this is precisely what morons of America elected; idiot voters in all their “wisdom” decided to elect a divided government into power, and this is the result: A ruling RepubliKKKlan Party in the House that doesn’t want to govern, can’t govern, and only cares about doing everything else but govern. Once again, we are on the precipice of another government shutdown because RepubliKKKlans refuse to pass a budget. Naturally, Democrats will save the day (and get no credit for protecting the country) by helping RepubliKKKlans pass a continuing resolution so they can kick the can down the road until early next year, only to repeat the process again — twice! The only question is this: Does Johnson keep his speakership? Or does he go down like McCarthy after he “worked” with Democrats to keep the government open? The short answer: Johnson ain’t going nowhere. RepubliKKKlans are not going to repeat the vacant speakership mess, and besides, Johnson is the perfect symbol of hate and religious authoritarianism that they desire. This is the closest they’ve come to putting a theocrat only two heartbeats away from the presidency. They have no intention of removing that advantage.

I find it insufferably maddening that voters are this f***ing G.D. stupid. I mean, this is the dumbest f***ing nation on the planet. When the f*** are voters going to realize that RepubliKKKlans can’t govern? That is a rhetorical question; I know the answer is never. It is incomprehensible to me that the government ran just fine under Democratic control before the midterm elections. Legislation was getting passed. The House was functioning on all cylinders. Then morons of America decide to f*** things up by giving control to RepubliKKKlans. I guess I should have expected nothing less. And what is the manifest culmination of idiot voters’ choices? A legislative branch of the government that doesn’t work. How can voters be so f***ing stupid? Seriously? How f***ing stupid can they be? I suppose that answer is still being revised — downward. It is ultimately a bottomless pit of stupidity.

Have morons of America forgotten already? Of course, they have. The last time RepubliKKKlans controlled the House, we had a government shutdown — the longest in our history, in fact — and that’s when traitor trump was in the White House. He couldn’t keep his own party in line. RepubliKKKlans shut down the government on themselves! Chirst-on-the-Cross! Because, of course, they did. Un-f***ing-belivable. Right on cue, in 2022, people voted for chaos when things were starting to function normally. What a f***ing joke. This country is just too f***ing G.D. stupid to endure. Do you think voters will ever put two and two together, realizing that RepubliKKKlans are the party of chaos and dysfunction? Nah! Welcome to stupid America — more of the same idiocracy and more religious. And people love the chaos or, more likely, don’t care. Never f***ing fails! Henry David Thoreau once said that men lead lives of quiet desperation. I’m starting to think men lead lives of quiet boredom. This is why they vote they way they do. Simply to “mix things up” and mess with democracy because why not? As my mother used to say, if you’re bored, then read a book. I guess chaos is more exciting if you don’t know how to read, which I assume is basically half the country. Stupid people everywhere, everywhere stupid people. The time has come. The end is here, f***tards. It is only a matter of time before the next civil war begins in earnest — although, I would say we’re already in a cold civil war. So, the moment to arm yourself is here for when things get hot and real. Do what you must to lawfully obtain a gun, rifle, or both. I promise you the other side — the traitors (RepubliKKKlans, MAGA morons, evil evangelicals, and QAnon kooks) — are out for blood and already armed, while dumbass Democrats, Independents, and the rest of the morons of America are sleepwalking right into fascism.

There is only one way to save our democracy — if it’s worth keeping or Americans care to save it — and that is through blood and treasure. There is no other way to break the cycle. Do not expect elections to save the day entirely, for if Democrats miraculously win the next presidential election, then the traitors will not be quelled or simply take their ball and go home. Hell, it was Lincoln’s election win that actually caused the South to secede from the Union. His win was the triggering event. So, do not expect the losers to retreat quietly! RepubliKKKlans, MAGA morons, evil evangelicals, and QAnon kooks will seek more vengeance, and they will seek destruction; if the traitors can’t win, then no one wins. They will make sure there is no peace. The only way is through — and the way through is war. Sorry to say, people. Be ready. We are approaching the kill-or-be-killed moment. So, wake the f*** up. No one cares! Trust me on this! No one f***ing cares because Biden is old. (Oh, and Americans are morons.) Before I get into the specifics of traitor trump’s intentions in a second term, I want to call out the obliviousness of voters, who, apparently, don’t want to live in a democracy anymore, and they are about to get their wish. Pick your demographic. Let’s start with the yutes; according to The Hill reports, “A New York Times/Siena College survey released Monday showed Biden virtually tied with Trump among voters younger than 30, with 30 percent backing Biden and 29 percent backing Trump. Thirty-four percent said they backed independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Meanwhile, an Emerson College poll released last month found 45 percent of voters younger than 30 backing Trump, while 43 percent said they supported Biden. The latest data is surprising, given Biden’s victory over Trump among young voters in 2020. According to AP VoteCast, Biden won 61 percent of voters between the ages of 18 and 29.”

Moving on to racial minorities, Axios reports, “President Biden’s support among Hispanic and Black voters may be dwindling from 2020, according to analysis by the New York Times, as he faces the prospect of a rematch with former President Trump in 2024. … Biden on average leads Trump about 53% to 28% among registered Black and Hispanic voters in a compilation of Times/Siena polls from 2022 and 2023, including more than 1,500 respondents. The compilation of polling shows that Biden’s decline includes Black and Hispanic voters across ages, genders and education-levels when compared to 2020. … 5% of these former Biden voters now support Trump, including 8% of Hispanic voters who say they supported Biden in 2020.” One must remember that the 2024 election will be won and lost on the margins, which means any small move from 2020 Biden voters to traitor trump spells doom for America. Full stop!

Furthermore, CNN conducted a few “man on the street” interviews with Hispanic voters. The first person was a woman with a hefty accent who didn’t have a firm grasp of English. She complained that under Biden, not much has changed for the better. That is to say, things (i.e., the economy) were better under traitor trump. That was followed by another interview with a male Hispanic who echoed the same sentiment about the economy. In his mind, elections are all about jobs, implying that traitor trump’s economy had more jobs, which is not true, but you can’t convince morons of anything otherwise. Never mind that these citizens — especially the woman who spoke with broken English — will be the target of MAGA morons in traitor trump’s next term. Citizen or not, Hispanics who seem more foreign than America (i.e., ability to speak English fluently) will be in the crosshairs of haters who are counting on concentration camps to help keep the American blood “pure.” (More on that anon.) But for now, suffice it to say, Americans are morons and have no idea that they are playing with fire.

All of these polls (and many more) still favor the Nazi-lover despite traitor trump’s blatant telegraphing — nah, more like shouting his desires out plainly and vehemently at the top of his lungs at rally after rally — that he intends to make his entire second term bent on revenge, a desire to replace democracy with fascism, and to remake the presidency into a dictatorship. Don’t take my word for it; traitor trump said it outright most recently at his Veteran’s Day Nuremberg-themed rally. According to The New Republic, “[A]t a rally in New Hampshire later that day, he repeated those words essentially verbatim—promising to ‘root out … the radical left thugs that live like vermin within the confines of our country’—and then doubled down on it: ‘The real threat is not from the radical right, the real threat is from the radical left, and it’s growing every day, every single day. The threat from outside forces is far less sinister, dangerous, and grave than the threat from within. Our threat is from within.’ This is straight-up Nazi talk, in a way he’s never done quite before. To announce that the real enemy is domestic and then to speak of that enemy in subhuman terms is Fascism 101. Especially that particular word.” This quote doesn’t need much commentary except to say this: Believe him. Guess who the vermin are? Hispanics, Blacks, gays, Democrats, etc. But whatever! People don’t know their history, much less understand it. No one cares. This sh*t-for-brain country just doesn’t care. They want a dictator. I keep saying it, and it keeps falling on deaf ears: The end is here.

Not only is the end here, but traitor trump intends this end game to stay for good. According to The Wahington Post, “Donald Trump and his allies have begun mapping out specific plans for using the federal government to punish critics and opponents should he win a second term, with the former president naming individuals he wants to investigate or prosecute and his associates drafting plans to potentially invoke the Insurrection Act on his first day in office to allow him to deploy the military against civil demonstrations. … Much of the planning for a second term has been unofficially outsourced to a partnership of right-wing think tanks in Washington. Dubbed ‘Project 2025,’ the group is developing a plan, to include draft executive orders, that would deploy the military domestically under the Insurrection Act, according to a person involved in those conversations and internal communications reviewed by The Washington Post. The law, last updated in 1871, authorizes the president to deploy the military for domestic law enforcement.”

And more from Mother Jones, “If Donald Trump wins back the presidency, he plans to quickly detain millions of undocumented immigrants in vast camps in Texas, try to end birthright citizenship, renew a version of his effort to ban Muslims from entering the United States, and deny visas to foreigners whose politics his advisers don’t like, the New York Times reported Saturday. … To achieve ‘mass deportation’ of undocumented immigrants, including otherwise law-abiding people who have lived in the US for decades, Trump would order Immigration and Customs Enforcement to carry out sweeping raids. Instead of merely arresting specific individuals, the agency would detain large numbers of people in public places. Personnel from other federal law enforcement agencies, along with National Guard troops and police from willing local jurisdictions, would be deputized to help, according to Miller. … Miller said the new Trump administration would build ‘vast holding facilities,’ likely ‘on open land in Texas near the border’ for undocumented immigrants, who would be detained there until they are deported.” We already have a historical precedent for this. They were called the Brown Shirts. So, getting back to my point about that Hispanic woman with broken English from the CNN interviews, does she really think that she’ll be exempt from these round-ups? Citizen or not, she will be a target. But whatever. People vote against their own best interests all the f***ing time. Hell, many Jews voted for Hitler because he was a strongman. Those Hitler supporters were eventually gassed. I can’t with the stupid anymore. I just f***ing can’t. (And don’t get me started with these disgruntled Muslims over the Israel-Hamas war who have singled they won’t vote in 2024. If there is one group traitor trump and MAGA morons hate more than Hispanics, then it is Muslims. But, you know, whatever. Stay home; see what happens.)

Traitor trump is planning to capture the justice system and the military, just like Hitler did. It’s the exact same playbook repeated by past and current dictators. He’s saying the quiet part out loud in plain sight. And idiot Americans aren’t paying — don’t want to pay — attention. They are too f***ing stupid to apprehend the danger. Now may be a good time to remind idiots that Hitler came to power with never achieving more than a third of the popular vote. We are exactly in the same position today, especially with all these third-party candidates running for president. Oh, well. I just f***ing give up! No poll at any time, in any state, for any given demographic should ever show traitor trump within 5 points of Biden, let alone the orange man being consistently ahead of the current president. I watched a dated Frontline documentary, “Shattered Dreams of Peace: The Road to Oslo,” which originally aired in July 2002. It is incredible how much I have forgotten, considering I lived through all that history. Although, I was not nearly as politically astute then as I am now. The historical refresher recalibrated my perspective a bit about the current Israel-Hamas war. It seems to me that a two-state solution can never happen. It is a fool’s errand. Indeed, the fight for Israel’s existence and the plight of Palestinians really is akin to a cage match — two men enter, one man exits. That one man must be Israel. Honestly, at this point, I think Israel should push all Palestinians out of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. I’ll give them “from the river to the sea” alright! There can be no peace as long as Palestinians live within Israel. Push them into the sea, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, or Lebanon. I don’t care anymore. And let the rest of the Middle East rattle their sabers. There are a few countries that need to be ended while Israel’s at it, such as Syria and Iran. I have no problem with Jews pushing Muslims from the holy land of Jerusalem. Jerusalem was a sacred city to Jews and Christians long before Islam showed up on the scene, so if claiming preeminence over the city is based on the most recent occupier, as Muslims claim because of their mosque, then simply shove Muslims out and raze the mosque. Israel should retake and reclaim all of the city and rebuild the Holy Temple for a Third time!

Straight white male snowflakes! (Naturally!) Disco was before my time, but I had always been intrigued by the brevity of the genre. Why was it so popular one minute and then seemingly extinct the next? Was the music really that bad all of a sudden? Well, PBS answered my curiosity in the American Experience documentary, “The War on Disco.” I had no idea that Disco had roots in the civil rights movement — Black, women, and gay. I certainly had no idea that the backlash to it was yet another example of the culture wars and white straight male fragility. But I guess I should have expected nothing less from America, as usual. I don’t know what it is about humanity that constantly fears the invisible, the irrational, and perhaps the inevitable. Have humans learned absolutely nothing in our many, many millennia of existence? You can’t fight change. So, why not just embrace it? But, no! Humanity is far less enlightened than we like to give ourselves credit for and far more benighted than we want to admit.

In the case of Disco, it would appear that white straight male snowflakes were aggrieved because the Disco genre of music was so popular — and apparently, these indigent men were being strapped down to chairs and forced to wear headphones as a means of torture or indoctrination or both. And because the music was considered elitist. Poor, poor snowflakes! Straight white working-class men couldn’t get into the cool night clubs — e.g., Studio 54 — to dance with people and to music they hated. The oxymorons write themselves! It was the music of the “oppressors” (read, Dicso) versus the “oppressed” (read, Rock’n Roll). Once again, white straight snowflakes were afraid and felt put upon because minority groups like Blacks, women, and the gays had a niche in music that the mainstream liked. Evidently, too many radio stations switched programming from the “less popular” Rock’n Roll to the more demanded Disco! Oh, my! Clutching of the pearls moment! It’s not like Rock’n Roll was falling out of favor or hard to find because Disco was crowding out the market. Hardly! God forbid people should have to muster the energy to tune the radio knob to another station! Only the whites can’t be bothered to literally change the station. Of course! Of course! Of course! Can’t have that. Oh, no! Got to keep those “others” in their place. Can’t have this sub-culture “infecting” the white, straight, cis civilization. God forbid!

In fact, The Loop radio station (all Rock’n Roll all the time) was born out of the Disco backlash, and the name and format live on (via streaming). (The actual frequency is now Christian music programming — vomit!) Thankfully, House music — my favorite — was also born from the death of Disco. One could say everyone won, but it remains a disgusting fact that the only reason Disco died is because racists, misogynists, and homophobes couldn’t handle the truth, namely that minorities co-existed with them and deserved freedom, too, which Disco represented. Indeed, the singular event that killed Disco occurred at Comiskey Park whereby white straight snowflakes, led by the disgruntled D.J. Steve Dahl, felt the need to release their inner caveman by rioting on the baseball field to blow up Disco records. (Imagine that! They hated something so much that they had to “kill it” by blowing it up. Sound familiar?) It is laughable to hear Steve Dahl defend his anti-Disco stance (contemporaneously and many years later) as nothing but a hatred of the music itself (that got him fired) and not a backlash to the counterculture movement. Of course, it was. (As an aside, Steve Dahl benefitted from getting fired because he was immediately hired by The Loop, no doubt, making more money than before and working for a station that would become the most popular frequency in Chicago for decades.) To be sure, the Disco backlash was always understood to have the simmering undertones of hatred against the “other.” Disco was the embodiment of a minority movement. To hate Disco was to hate everything it stood for and represented; there was no separating between hating the beats and the people who danced to it!

Fast forward 50 years, and not a single f***ing thing has changed! Humanity is exactly the same. Only the year and the background have changed. White straight men and women are still aggrieved by everything. They’re still all snowflakes. Sadly, this documentary only reaffirmed my theory that nothing has really changed. For as much as snowflakes fret an evolving world, they definitely have not. They still hate just as much now as they did then. They hate all the minorities just the same. They are close-minded just the same. The only difference is we call them MAGA morons and RepubliKKKlans today. Welcome to stupid America. The year may be different, but the hate is unchanged! I expected nothing less!

So, Joe Manchin is not running for re-election in West Virginia, and it looks like he’s gearing up to run for president as an Independent. (Not to mention, the Senate will be lost, but I’ll get to that anon.) Indeed, the presidential field is becoming a sh*t show of candidates. You have Kennedy running as an Independent, who apparently seems to be taking more votes away from traitor trump than Biden. (We’ll see about that.) Then you have West, who dropped out of the Green Party to run as an Independent, which opened up for Stein to run on the Green Party ticket. These two will undoubtedly pull votes from Biden, just as Stein cost Clinton the presidency. Now throw Manchin into the mix, and you have the recipe to elect traitor trump and end our democracy because Americans are just that f***ing G.D. stupid. These third-party voters are the dumbest people on the f***ing planet, unable to apprehend that they are throwing away their votes in protest while “inadvertently” electing traitor trump. You only need a few thousand voters in the right states to vote for these third-party candidates to cost Biden the election. Seriously! Ten thousand sh*t-for-brains voters who switch from Biden to West, Stein, or Kennedy could flip a key state to traitor trump. Ten thousand out of 100+ million voters can bring down our democracy. Ten thousand f***tards. Un-f***ing-beleviable. God! We are so f***ing doomed. It is quite possible that traitor trump could become president with as little as 40 percent of the population voting for him. Imagine governing over that. Christ-on-the-f***ing-Cross. Only in America! I see no way to avoid a civil war after such a result.

Idiot Americans are not thinking strategically when they vote; they’re just blindly voting with emotion and merely to be against the two-party system. Look, f***tards! A two-party system is the system we have. Deal with it! A third-party candidate has never won the presidency! Let me say that slower for the hoards of intellectually disabled out there: A! Third-party! Candidate! Has! Never! Won! The! Presidency! Yet, morons of American voters keep trying, and they’ll destroy the nation in their effort by putting dictator traitor trump in office. Mark my words, morons. Mark them well. This many people running for president will invariably siphon votes mostly away from Biden. Ultimately, this is going to end America as we know it! I simply have no faith in the American voter after they elected traitor trump. I guess there is nothing they can do to restore my faith in their ability to make sound electoral decisions. Third-party candidates got traitor trump elected in 2016. Biden won in 2020 because there were no significant Independent contenders, but that’s all changed leading into 2024. I am unable to convince myself Americans won’t make the same mistake again! Oh, well. I can’t anymore! I just f***ing can’t! I live in f***ing stupid hell!

Moreover, imagine traitor trump in the White House with total control of the legislature. Democrats never had much hope of keeping the Senate in 2024. Manchin was never going to win re-election because West Virginia has become a hellscape of RepubliKKKlanism. Recall that Manchin is the only Democratic member of the U.S. delegation to D.C. As for their state legislature, of all Senate and House seats, Democrats hold 14, and RepubliKKKlans hold 120. Manchin was on borrowed time because rednecks love RepubliKKKlans. Trade Manchin’s possible win with an inevitable loss for Democrats coupled with Democratic Senate seats in trouble in other red states, then the Democratic Party never had a prayer to keep control of the U.S. Senate. But whatever! Everything is lining up for traitor trump to capture the White House as Democrats lose control of the Senate and RepubliKKKlans keep the majority in the House. Americans are really going to see how this country becomes a fascist state because I promise you that the filibuster rule, which has been holding back the worst legislation by RepubliKKKlans from becoming law, will end. This is the first rule change RepubliKKKlans will repeal. Say goodbye to marriage equality, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, the ACA, and all the other social safety nets. Oh, and as for abortion? Expect a six-week abortion ban nationwide. Oh, well. Whatever! No one cares! People are morons, and they get the government they deserve and desire.
