The Associated Press reports, “Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen notified Congress on Monday that the U.S. could default on its debt as early as June 1, if legislators do not raise or suspend the nation’s borrowing authority before then and avert what could potentially become a global financial crisis.” Will America default on its debt? Probably. The fact that I cannot definitively say no to such a question is the problem. I have no doubt that RepubliKKKlans don’t care if America defaults, for they see it as a win for them and a way to hurt Biden and help traitor trump. It really is just that simple.

RepubliKKKlans want the economy in a recession (or worse) in the lead-up to the next presidential election because they know people vote with their wallets in mind above any other considerations. They will blame Biden and Democrats even though they are the ones holding the debt ceiling hostage. Never mind that whenever a RepubliKKKlan is president and the Congress is divided, Democrats readily help RepubliKKKlans pass clean debt limit increase legislation. Never mind any of that. In fact, we don’t even have to actually default; we merely need to get close, as was the case during Obama’s presidency. Recall in 2011, a Democratic president and a RepubliKKKlan-held Congress went right up to the threshold. As a result, America lost its prized AAA credit rating, downgraded to AA-plus. While RepubliKKKlans held the debt ceiling captive under Obama and now under Biden, it never happened under traitor trump despite Democrats controlling the House for the last two years of his term. Increasing the debt limit was never an issue under Democratic control of Congress, but f***tards of America voted for RepubliKKKlans to retake the House, and look what happens. It never f***ing fails! If there is one thing RepubliKKKlans can count on from voters after years of practice and experience, it is this: They understand that voters are f***ing G.D. morons of the highest f***ing order with no long-term memory. From CNN, “The Supreme Court agreed Monday to reconsider long held precedent and decide whether to significantly scale back on the power of federal agencies in a case that can impact everything from how the government addresses everything from climate change to public health to immigration. Conservative justices have long sought to rein in regulatory authority, arguing that Washington has too much control over American businesses and individual lives. The justices have been incrementally diminishing federal power but the new case would allow them to take a much broader stride. … Their action means they will reconsider a 1984 case – Chevron v. Natural Resources Defense Council – that sets forward factors to determine when courts should defer to a government agency’s interpretation of the law. Conservatives on the bench have cast a skeptical eye on the so-called Chevron deference, arguing that agencies are often too insulated from the usual checks and balances essential to the separation of powers.”

And so it begins! The utter destruction of the administrative state (and America). (See post titled Catastrophic.) Chevron is now on the chopping block, a la Roe. This is an immensely consequential case, for a cornerstone of how the government functions is about to be obliterated. And guess what? No one cares — as usual. Allow me to explain to you, plebeians. In short, the Chevron deference states that “when a legislative delegation to an administrative agency on a particular issue or question is not explicit but rather implicit, a court may not substitute its own interpretation of the statute for a reasonable interpretation made by the administrative agency.” In other words, the administrative state — through its expertise — is allowed to fill in the gaps of laws so they can run the f***ing country because, you know, Congress doesn’t (can’t) write laws to explicitly detail every function of the government in every situation at every moment — seen or unforeseen. Yet, this is what SCOTUS would expect the legislature to do — be clairvoyant. Remember, the super-majority of conservatives on this Court are extreme textualists when it comes to reading and interpreting the law. In their minds, if it’s not written, then it does not exist, despite the essence of the law being plain. Naturally, this approach to the law is generally absurd, but absurdity to RepubliKKKlans is part of the point.

So what? What’s the impact of overturning Chevron, you may ask? I should first reiterate that this is an opportunity to strike Chevron in total. Do not think for a second this SCOTUS will make the mistake of drip, drip weakening of the doctrine. Oh, no! This is their chance to rip out the rule — root and branch. And they will take it. Remember all those people who thought they would never overturn Roe? They are morons, as they are now for thinking the conservative justices have any interest in not fulfilling one of their wet dreams, given the possibility served up to them on a silver platter. Once overturned, the entire administrative state becomes fair game for lawsuits, and every regulation and rule becomes contested. Tell me, how does a country function when everything has to be litigated? Not to mention courts and SCOTUS — who, no doubt, are not experts in the various subject matters of government that will come before them — will be the final word on disagreements. How is that going to work out? I can hear people yelling now: The administrative state (aka the “deep state”) should be neutered. Look, f***tards! Government, just by its very nature of the society in which it is created, is large and complicated. It cannot be run without an expansive executive branch that is allowed to translate the broad contours of the law into the detailed minutia of action needed to enact the law and get sh*t done. That’s why it’s called the executive branch that executes the laws, which are often imperfectly written by the legislative branch. Interpretation is required by the second branch of government.

But whatever! No one cares. This is what people voted for when they elected traitor trump. Either people are too stupid or too apathetic about government, voting, and the society in which they live to the point that they elect f***tards like traitor trump, MAGA morons, evil evangelicals, and QAnon kooks. People get the government they deserve and desire — intentionally and unintentionally. People have no f***ing clue how bad things are going to get with this SCOTUS, but they’re about to find out, and by the time they realize what’s wrong, it will be too late. Oh, well. Reporting from the Chicago Tribune, “A federal judge in southern Illinois on Friday issued an injunction blocking enforcement of the state’s new ban on many higher-powered firearms and large-capacity ammunition magazines, just days after a counterpart in Chicago ruled the opposite way. The Friday ruling came in a case that consolidated lawsuits brought by a variety of groups, including the Illinois State Rifle Association, against the law passed in the Democratic-controlled General Assembly and signed by Democratic Gov. J.B. Pritzker in January in response to the deadly mass shooting at last year’s Fourth of July parade in north suburban Highland Park. … Writing that ‘a constitutional right is at stake,’ U.S. District Judge Stephen McGlynn found the plaintiffs in the case showed the law caused an ‘irreparable harm’ by denying them the ability to ‘purchase their firearm of choice’ and ‘exercise their right to self-defense in the manner they choose.’… The ruling comes three days after U.S. District Judge Lindsay Jenkins declined to issue an injunction in a similar case in the Chicago-based Northern District. In that case, Jenkins, appointed last year by President Joe Biden, found that Chicago emergency room physician Javier Herrera failed to show the law created any harm that would ‘outweigh the overwhelming interest in public safety’ and justify an injunction.”

Even when citizens, like those in Illinois, want their elected representatives to pass sensible gun regulations in response to a domestic terrorist attack in July 2022, they are barred from protecting themselves by unelected judges because “we the people” means nothing to right-wing f***tards. At what point do citizens start taking to the streets to protest not only gun violence but court rulings that perpetuate the violence? When? I know when. Never! Oh, well!

Clearly, the traitor trump appointed judge is looking for this case to come before SCOTUS because it is the next stop on the “any gun every” train. It is the next logical conclusion. The Heller case weakened gun control by ruling firearms are allowed outside the home, and the Bruen case further weakened gun control by ruling states cannot regulate said guns in most public places. So, what remains for the justices to decide? The type of guns allowed. They’ve already decided that firearms can be permitted in public, and states have little power to regulate said guns in public. Thus, the next logical measure is to grant Constitutional rights to everyone to carry any type of gun in public, especially these AR-15 type guns because they are the new muskets, which would be perfectly “consistent” with the new “histories and traditions” standard employed by this recent super-majority conservative theocratic SCOTUS. Of course, this new standard is perfectly ridiculous to any normal-thinking citizen, but, unfortunately, this is what people voted for when they elected traitor trump. This is the government people deserve and desire. This is what they wanted, so now they’re getting it. Oh, well. Like I’ve been saying for years, the damage is done and irreversible. According to NBC News, “Former President Donald Trump embraced a Jan. 6 defendant at a diner during a campaign stop Thursday night, calling the woman, who served prison time for her actions during the Capitol attack and wants former Vice President Mike Pence executed for treason, ‘terrific.’… On Jan. 6, Larson-Olson climbed the scaffolding set up for Joe Biden’s inauguration and held on when police tried to remove her; she later bragged on social media and in an interview that it took six officers to remove her. Larson-Olson told NBC News that she ‘refused’ to leave the platform and has ‘absolutely no regrets’ about her actions that day. … Larson-Olson said she believes that the members of Congress who voted to certify Biden’s presidential election should be executed. … Larson-Olson was introduced to Trump as a ‘Jan. 6er,’ and he signed the backpack that she said she was carrying with her that day and waived her past security so he could embrace her. ‘Listen, you just hang in there,’ Trump said, calling her a ‘terrific woman’ and kissing her on the cheek. Trump said it was ‘so bad’ what has been done to Jan. 6 ‘patriots.’… Larson-Olson said that she got out of prison last month after serving more than 160 days and that she was often placed in more restrictive confinement because of her refusal to comply with Covid protocols. She said she’d do it all over again because she believes that Trump is the true president.”

Indeed, dare I say, public support is the bigger problem. I have no doubt that no less than 40 percent of the population supports what she believes, and another 10 percent are stunningly indifferent, which gets you to the margin of the electorate that engenders a traitor trump presidency part two. I don’t know how many times I have to keep repeating myself, but this “national fever” of traitor trump, MAGA morons, and QAnon kookery is not breaking. In fact, it is getting worse, and Americans are completely oblivious to this cancer consuming the nation. But whatever! You’ve been warned. Let’s just cut right to the chase! Shall we? The 2024 presidential election will be a re-match of Biden vs. traitor trump. So, the question is — given everything we know and have experienced — are Americans smart enough to avoid another traitor trump presidency? My short answer: Probably not. Allow me to explain.

There have been several polls — recent and old — that either have Biden behind or tied with a head-to-head traitor trump match-up. Any such poll result in which this is the case is completely incomprehensible, but then again, I must remind myself that I live in stupid America. Given everything surrounding traitor trump, people are still telling pollsters, sure, why not another chance? This is why I have absolutely no faith in American voters to get their voting consistently correct. Oh, sure, they elected Biden once, but a second time is far from guaranteed — again, incomprehensibly. Even if you believe the next election is a choice between two bad choices, people, according to the polls, seem willing to select the worse option — again! But I’m here to tell you the situation, even at this point, is more dire than what these polls are indicating.

You must forget everything you hear from those professional idiot political pundits on the MSM. Forget all their B.S., for the election will come down to roughly 40,000 – 80,000 people, if that, in various states. So, forget about the die-hard Democratic and RepubliKKKlan voters. They are never going to change their votes. And forget about left-leaning and right-leaning Independents, who will vote as predicted. Instead, worry about those truly politically ambivalent voters who are so squishy in their “thinking” that they probably don’t know who they’re voting for until they actually check the box. Even then, they are surprised about what their hand selected. These are the dangerous voters on the margins that are guided not by principle but likely by their pocketbook and not much else.

I would like to remind the reader about the margins of the last two presidential races. It’s essential to have a clear understanding of the numbers when considering the outcome and impact of these elections. Clinton may have lost despite besting traitor trump in the popular vote by nearly 3 million, but he won by a scant 77,744 well-placed votes. As the Washington Examiner summarizes, “Donald Trump owes his victory in the Electoral College to three states he won by the smallest number of votes: Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan. So it’s fair to say that the 2016 presidential election was decided by about 77,000 votes out of [more] than 136 million ballots cast. According to the final tallies, Trump won Pennsylvania by 0.7 percentage points (44,292 votes), Wisconsin by 0.7 points (22,748 votes), Michigan by 0.2 points (10,704 votes).”

Then we come to the Biden and traitor trump match-up. What were those margins? Anyone? Anyone at all? More votes? Fewer votes? From NPR, “In fact, in this election, Biden won the national popular vote by some 6 million votes so far, more than double Hillary Clinton’s margin over Trump four years ago. But just 44,000 votes in Georgia, Arizona and Wisconsin separated Biden and Trump from a tie in the Electoral College.” I’m not a mathematician, but I’m pretty sure 44,000 is much less than 77,000. So, this next race will come down to the number of votes roughly the size of a small city, no matter what the polls say. For a fatal flaw in our electoral system is that it does not rely on the popular vote — at all. So, if you get enough angry traitor trump voters showing up to the polls coupled with enough apathetic would-be or past Biden voters who decide to “protest” by staying home like a toddler throwing a tantrum, then bam! You have traitor trump as the 47th president. Don’t think it can’t happen. I would expect nothing less from a moronic America!

I watched Biden’s campaign announcement video. It was good and appropriately hit all the correct, familiar notes that got him elected in the first place. Although, I will say there was one missing, familiar topic that Democrats never seem to be able to hammer home, and that is SCOTUS. I don’t know how, when, where, or if dumbass Democrats will ever f***ing learn to make SCOTUS one of the central motivating factors in every f***ing election, from the presidency to the G.D. dog catcher. Granted, there are no imminent openings on the High Court that would shift the balance of power, but Thomas is old enough that during Biden’s current or next term, he could drop dead ala Scalia and needs to be replaced, which would be a terrific opportunity to substitute the most conservative justice with a raging liberal Biden appointee. One would think Democrats should make this argument a primary reason to vote Democratic. Of course, one would think! But this is the dumbass Democratic Party we’re talking about, so I expect nothing less than Democrats to kind of ignore the Court just like they have for the last 40 years. If they really want to emphasize saving America’s democracy, then Democrats should be laser-focused on SCOTUS and federal judges because they all seem to be the one branch of government completely immune from checks and balances. And, in particular, SCOTUS demonstrates they are literally above the law. Fan-f***ing-tastic!

Then we have Biden’s age. I will be the first to admit I think Biden is too old for just about anything, but it will never stop me from voting for him because his age certainly has not impeded his acumen and ability to do the job. Sure, compared to traitor trump Biden acts old and stiff, but unlike traitor trump, Biden is not a f***ing G.D. moron. Although, I will say the only aspect of his age that does stir my ire is that he’s been around long enough to remember when Democrats and RepubliKKKlans actually worked together. His age is detrimental in this way: It evinces he’s from a bygone era of bipartisanship governing. It’s that quaint memory of yesteryear comradery that no longer exists and to which Biden still clings that frustrates me. I’d prefer a younger and more rough-and-tumble leader, but we have Biden for now, and at least I know he won’t intentionally destroy the country, even though, at times, I feel his timidity might lead us to that. Now if only Progressives and Independents could get over is age. That is the real and terrifying question. Welcome to stupid America!

Tucker Carlson has been canceled from Fox News. This is big news but utterly inconsequential. It’s about as devastating for Fox News as Bill O’Reilly’s departure, which broke the cable news station. Oh, what. That actually did not happen. In fact, Carlson took over O’Reilly’s spot only to become more radical and crazy. Do not think for a second that more bat-sh*t bonker replacements aren’t waiting in the wings to become the next Carlson. And don’t think for a second that Fox News is moderating or starting to see the error of their ways. That’s not f***ing happening — ever! If anything, this is business as usual and full steam ahead. Fox News is bigger than any one host, no matter how huge his or her ratings. They survived O’Reilly without skipping a beat, and they’ll survive Carlson too. As for his “loyal” fan base, they’re not going anywhere. Fox News will find the next red meat carnival barker to feed the stupidity and bigotry of their audience. Maybe someone like Jesse Watters, who will be cheaper. And Carlson will go nowhere. Didn’t people speculate O’Reilly would take his entire following to some rival chancel with him? How did that work out? The same will not happen with Carlson. Poor guy. He’ll be relegated to podcasts and a YouTube channel only now — OAN and Newsmax can’t afford him. I’ve seen this movie before. The applications for stays presented to J USTICE ALITO and by him referred to the Court are granted. The April 7, 2023 order of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, case No. 2:22–cv–223, is stayed pending disposition of the appeal in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and disposition of a petition for a writ of certiorari, if such a writ is timely sought. Should certiorari be denied, this stay shall terminate automatically. In the event certiorari is granted, the stay shall terminate upon the sending down of the judgment of this Court.

I am always more than willing to admit when I am wrong, and here is one such instance, in part. So, it would seem that SCOTUS granted a stay on the lower courts’ orders from taking effect until the case (FDA v. Hippocratic Medicine) makes its way through the appellate system. Of course, all of this is only temporary. This case will undoubtedly come before the Court again in October, in which case the justices will take up the matter on its actual merits. Note that this is an administrative stay — basically a procedural hold while the questions of law are argued. This stay by SCOTUS makes absolutely no verdict on the worthiness of the parties’ arguments. In short, SCOTUS has made no judgment about what they truly believe about the case. However, Thomas and Alito tipped their hand on all abortion rights before this case landed on their plate, and a few others also have but were not willing to say so via this stay order as the two aforementioned did.

As always, with any unexpected move by SCOTUS, I ask, What’s their endgame? I don’t trust anything the six uber-conservative justices do that contradicts their usual mode of taking away people’s rights. Some alternative motive is going on here; I can only speculate, so I will. First, as I mentioned above, the stay says nothing about what the justices actually think about the merits of the case, and I am skeptical of legal pundits who think SCOTUS is signaling to the lower courts that they have no “appetite” for more abortion drama. If that were the situation, the justices could have thrown out the case on the blatant lack of standing, which is the only point of contention legal pundits can agree on. But no! They didn’t, so they welcome this fight to some extent. Second, I think SCOTUS is simply trying to avoid adding more to the heat RepubliKKKlans are facing. Conservative justices are embroiled in corruption and controversy (e.g., Thomas), so they don’t need to pile on by rolling back more women’s rights. Plus, they have time! They have copious amounts of time. They have decades of time as this Court will have an uber-conservative supermajority for the next ten years at least. They’ve got the long game in mind to dismantle our rights and enshrine Christo-fascist laws. Thus, I have no doubt this will be the drip, drip pattern of reversing access to the abortion pill just as they did with Roe and Casey while lulling idiot Americans into a false sense of “nothing to see here” as they slowly roll us back to the 19th Century. Also, recall in a previous post I stated that FDA v. Hippocratic Medicine is a two-for case. It is a chance for the Court to roll back more abortion rights and weaken and dismantle the administrative state, the last pillar of the legal doctrine they hope to shred. Welcome to stupid America!

According to CNN, “The Texas Senate passed a bill Thursday requiring each public school classroom to display a copy of the Ten Commandments, a move that drew backlash from civil liberty advocates who say lawmakers should not dictate what religious materials students are exposed to. The legislation, which passed the state Senate on a 17-12 vote, will now head to the state’s House of Representatives. Senate Bill 1515, authored by state Sen. Phil King, a Republican, requires the Ten Commandments to be displayed in a ‘conspicuous place’ in each classroom in a ‘size and typeface that is legible to a person with average vision from anywhere in the classroom.’ King has previously said the bill will help restore religious liberties ‘that were lost’ and it ‘reminds students all across Texas of the importance of a fundamental foundation” of America.’… Also Thursday, the Senate passed another bill relating to religion, one which would require schools to allow time for students and employees to pray and read the Bible on each school day. Senate Bill 1396 also passed with a 17-12 vote.”
