They consider themselves conservative purists who cannot be placated unless all their demands are met — and maybe not even then. Their agenda is mostly to defund, disrupt and dismantle government, not to participate in it.”

So, how will RepubliKKKlans govern and manage the House if they can’t get their shit together? They aren’t! They want to burn the fucking country down. They are going to hold the budget hostage, which means there will be government shutdowns. They’ll fail to raise the debt ceiling, which means America will default on its debt. All of this weakens and hurts America, and this will be precisely what people voted for because they are too fucking stupid to safeguard their own democracy. According to LGBTQ Nation, “An influential Israeli rabbi with ties to his country’s incoming conservative lawmakers has made homophobic comments about Amir Ohana, the first out LGBTQ+ speaker ever to serve in the country’s parliament, the Knesset. Last Saturday, Rabbi Meir Mazuz — a Haredi rabbi at the Kisse Rahamim Yeshiva, an orthodox seminary — told students attending an online lecture that Ohana was ‘infected with a disease’ and that his sexual orientation was responsible for a 2021 crowd crush that killed 45 people, The Times of Israel reported.”

Eh, it’s just time to start killing these people. I have no problem with that. I’m tired of trying to understand and get along with people who want us dead, so I say kill them first. And with Nazis taking over the Israeli government, it’s not going to get any better for the LGBTQ community there. Strike first, fast, and hard!

I believe The New York Times sums up the status of the situation well, “Only hours before the vote, Representative Kevin McCarthy of California was still laboring on Tuesday to lock down the support he needed to be elected speaker, with ultraconservative holdouts showing no signs of backing down from what could become a chaotic floor fight at the dawn of the new House Republican majority. The standoff hung over what was supposed to be a day of jubilation for Republicans, exposing deep divisions within the party as it embarks on its first week in power. It all but guaranteed that even if Mr. McCarthy eked out a victory, he would be a diminished speaker beholden to an empowered right flank.”

We are just hours away from the beginning of RepubliKKKlan chaos in the House being on full display to the whole world. Just remember, this is what morons of America voted for because I live in stupid hell. Ya know, I was persuaded immediately after the midterm elections that democracy had held, that Americans had come to their senses at the last minute, and that the worst may actually be behind us. Boy, was I wrong! Not sure why I keep failing to stick to my gut, but I should have, for I should have known that given voters’ choice to continue with the successes of the Biden administration or fuck it all up, morons of America would take the first chance to destroy America’s progress. So, I’m back to blaming stupid fucking Americans who are just too fucking stupid to be trusted with preserving democracy.

And it’s not like this situation with McCarthy is entirely unknown. Just ask Speakers Boehner and Ryan. Boehner was forced out by the same uber-right-wing crazies preventing McCarthy from ascending. As Boehner says in his memoir, “Under the new rules of Crazytown, I may have been Speaker, but I didn’t hold all the power. By 2013 the chaos caucus in the House had built up their own power base thanks to fawning right-wing media and outrage-driven fundraising cash.” And this is the same faction that drove Ryan to quit because he was tired of the same chaos coalition getting in the way of everything, even conservative initiatives. As of today, absolutely nothing has changed for the better; it’s only become worse. There are now more RepubliKKKlan members committed to burning everything down.

But this is what Americans want. This is the result of their votes. And I am getting really fucking sick of voters looking at this mess in the House and shaking their heads, wondering why can’t they get their act together? Jesus-fucking-Christ, you stupid, stupid people of America. You put these idiots in office. What the fuck did you think was going to happen? You should have known this was going to be the consequence: QAnon kooks and the crazy caucus come to power and basically blow everything up. RepubliKKKlans don’t know how to govern; they don’t want to govern. All they want is to block everything, stymie progress, and pull America back 100 years. But whatever! I live in stupid fucking hell. This is trump stupid America, and people deserve it! And another thing, don’t expect dumbass Democrats to capitalize on this RepubliKKKlan dysfunction because they can’t — won’t. It is not enough for Democrats to assume idiots of America will rightly understand the contrast between Democrats’ ability to govern and RepubliKKKlans’ desire to destroy everything, for they won’t. I keep hearing MSM fucktards talk about how Goerge Santos is set to be sworn in tomorrow along with everyone else as the new Congress starts, and this story is usually followed by the McCarthy leadership mess leading the top of the newscast. But I am always left a bit confused because I thought the Speaker of the House would need to be elected before House members could be sworn into office, and as it turns out, I was right — again. As The New York Times states, “The Constitution requires that the House elect a speaker, and the vote takes priority over all other business. Nothing else can be done until the question is resolved. The House votes on a speaker before it formally adopts the set of rules governing the body. The incoming members of Congress won’t even be sworn in until after they choose a speaker [empahais added].”

Moreover, “Under this practice the Speaker administers the oath of office to all Members-elect at one time on opening day. … The Act of June 1, 1789, provides that on the organization of the House, and previous to entering on any other business, the oath shall be administered by any Member (generally the Member with longest continuous service) to the Speaker and by the Speaker to the other Members and Clerk (when elected),” House Practice: A Guide to the Rules, Precedents and Procedures of the House.

I have not heard one anchor clarify this point (except Rachel Maddow, naturally); they just seem to think that elected Speaker or not, people will be sworn in. No, no. Without a Speaker, the entire House is paralyzed and cannot do a fucking thing. The more I watch these news anchors and political pundits, the more I’m starting to believe that they really don’t know jack shit beyond reading a teleprompter. Welcome to stupid America.

Only RepubliKKKlans! The Guardian reports, “The final hurdle to Republican Kevin McCarthy’s years-long quest to secure the speaker’s gavel grew even more formidable on Monday as a sizable group of House colleagues from his own party said they were not yet ready to support him. The nine Republican rebels made the announcement after the California congressman made a series of concessions on Sunday to try to shore up the support of conservative hardliners ahead of Republicans assuming control of the US lower chamber on Tuesday.”

Of course, this is comical because the closer McCarthy gets to 3 January and the more concessions he makes then the further from 218 he gets. He’s losing momentum when he should be consolidating power. An opinion piece in The New York Times sums it up well, “A failed vote would badly weaken Mr. McCarthy or whoever the new speaker will be. The House is a majoritarian institution, and a speaker’s power is ultimately derived from the ability to produce the 218 votes needed to do business. If Republicans are unable to muster the votes for a speaker, it will make very clear from the outset they cannot be counted on to fulfill the body’s basic responsibilities, such as funding the government or preventing a credit default by lifting the debt ceiling, both of which will be required later this year.”

No matter the outcome, the damage has already been done. RepubliKKKlans have already shown that they can’t manage and would rather create chaos instead of governing. But this is what fucking goddamned trump stupid America voted for; this is what idiots get and deserve. You couldn’t make this shit up if you tried. The RepubliKKKlan Party, which has long accused the Democratic Party of being feckless, appears incompetent at all levels. According to The New York Times, “The Russian Defense Ministry said on Monday that 63 service members had been killed in the strike in the city, Makiivka, which is in the Donetsk region. Ukraine claimed that ‘about 400’ Russian soldiers had died. Neither figure could be independently verified. A spokesman for the Russian-installed proxy government in the Donetsk region, Daniil Bezsonov, called the strike ’a massive blow’ and hinted at errors by Russian commanders. ‘The enemy inflicted the most serious defeats in this war on us not because of their coolness and talent, but because of our mistakes,’ he wrote in a post on the Telegram messaging app.” I chose to believe that closer to 400 Russians were killed because Ukraine is that good, and Russia is that fucked up. Now, why the fuck is the West still dragging their feet with supplying Ukraine with everything it needs to win the war, not just stave off defeat? This is why the West is so fucking weak; they refuse to make the hard, necessary decisions. Everything is piecemeal.

I rarely venture into the belly of the beast deliberately because the notion of what I will find, no doubt, will infuriate me to no end, but I came across this MAGA moron article on this MAGA moron website, AG American Greatness. I won’t get into every aspect of what was written because some of the premises are downright backward, as one could imagine from an anti-Democratic movement. Nonetheless, I was drawn to the article because of the (maybe) impending RepubliKKKlan schism — more like a takeover by the extreme right wing of the party.

As the article argues, “That leads us to the inevitable question: What should we do when a majority of Republicans want Trump, but the Republican Party says we can’t have him? Do we knuckle under and vote for Ro DeSantis because he would be wasn’t better than any Democrat? I say no, we don’t knuckle under. And I like DeSantis. I’d vote for him after Trump’s second term. But not before. Here’s the thing: It is precisely the expedient view of ‘well, this person isn’t my first choice, but he’s the best available option who can win’ which has allowed the uniparty to take over and ruin the country. We’re letting the Republicans get away with offering us a false dichotomy: A fake non-choice among candidates who are pre-selected for us. … If you ask me, Trump’s presidency was much more ‘American’ than it was ‘Republican.’ That’s why it was such a success and why so many of us loved it. Now, if the Republican Party thinks it’s not big enough for Trump, it’s not going to be big enough for me either.”

Of course, I relish the notion of a traitor trump third-party run, for it would ensure a Biden second term. Some may perceive such open contempt for the RepubliKKKlan Party as a schism between the “moderates” and the QAnon kookeries. I see it as less of a rift and more like the extreme is about to devour the moderates, and this will play out in spades come 3 January when the RepubliKKKlan demonstrates that it can’t get its act together.

Is this thing still going on? Seriously! Where are we with this many months-long saga? I will admit that I thought the government would have shut down these protests by now, but on the other hand, the movement has not reached any sense of critical mass. It just seems to be this slow burn leading to nothing except a bunch of citizens venting. At what point do people revert back to the status quo? Call me skeptical, but I think an oppressed people kind of doesn’t mind after a while, and Iranians have been oppressed for nearly 50 years. So, why should now be any different? Oh, maybe it’s that “this time is different” mantra hope-peddling bullshit. People seem uniquely inclined to such myopia.

Speaking of “unique,” I came across this JSTOR article which I quote at length, “The civil unrest that erupted in Iran after 22-year-old Mahsa Amini was allegedly beaten to death by the Islamic Republic’s morality police in September continues to spread across the country. Demonstrations initially aimed at abolishing compulsory hijab laws are now calling for a complete dismantling of the republic itself. Overnight, protestors went from taking off their headscarves to lighting them on fire, from tearing down portraits of their Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, to shouting, ‘Death to the Oppressor!’ in the streets. Many reports present these developments as unprecedented, and for good reason. As Assal Rad, a research director at the National Iranian American Council, says in a Zoom call, the current level of civil disobedience would have been ‘unimaginable’ a few months ago. At the same time, it is important to recognize that today’s protests are not entirely unique in the context of Iranian history. They are firmly rooted in a century-old tradition of collective action against authoritarianism—a tradition which created ‘one of the most robust protest cultures in the world,’ as Reza Aslan writes in An American Martyr in Persia: The Epic Life and Tragic Death of Howard Baskerville, set during the 1905-1911 Persian Constitutional Revolution.”

It got me thinking, if Iranians are experts at protesting with a long history of doing so, then what’s taking so long? Perhaps I’m being too impatient. But am I? The Islamic Revolution took over a year to oust the Shaw. But one would think in this century of speedy everything from communications to the dissemination of information, events would be accelerated, but they are not. These Iranian protests have actually been culminating since July 2021. They’ve only intensified after the murder of Mahsa Amini. But before Amini, the populace had been agitated over economic problems, which arguably should be more of a catalyst for real change. Yet, nothing. So after 18 months of protests and 50 years of oppression, I see why this time will probably not be different. Oh, well. People get the government they deserve and desire.

Now that the Netanyahu government has been sworn into office, we’ll start getting a true sense of where the country is headed, and from what I’m reading, they are headed directly into becoming a modern-day Nazi state. Imagine that! A nation founded in the wake of Nazi Germany’s attempt to exterminate Jews from Europe is using those same tactics employed by Nazis to force an ultra-orthodox Judaism takeover of Israel. Un-fucking-believable! Irony is not dead!

An Israeli journalist’s opinion piece in The New York Times lays out the situation nicely. The author writes, “Jewish fundamentalists are now the dominant element in the Israeli governing coalition led by Benjamin Netanyahu. They plan a hostile takeover of Jewish identity. Several ministries have been created with a focus on Jewish identity. Each will be led almost exclusively by the members of parties representing the various strands of modern Jewish fundamentalism — parties that resist any form of modernism — as well as the elements of the Zionist Orthodoxy that are increasingly both ultranationalist and ultra-Orthodox. These parties are imposing on Israel a definition of Judaism that refuses to recognize the validity of the non-Orthodox streams, with which the majority of American Jews identify. They are even demanding a change in the most fundamental link between Israel and the Jewish diaspora: the Law of Return, which grants Israeli citizenship to Jews and their descendants. They have promised to make those with at least one Jewish grandparent and who are not recognized as Jewish by the Orthodox rabbinical establishment ineligible for automatic Israeli citizenship.” Hmmm. Where have I heard identity being used as a wedge issue before in history? Where, oh, where, has identity purity been used to segregate and demonize a people? If I could just remember. Oh, wait! I recall now. It’s the Nazis! It started with The Nuremberg Laws and ended with the Final Solution. This would be comical if it were not so tragic.

But don’t worry. It gets worse. Apparently, the indoctrination — unsurprisingly — must start with the educational system. As the Times continues, “According to the agreement signed by Mr. Maoz’s Noam and by Mr. Netanyahu’s Likud, Mr. Maoz is now in charge of a new authority for national Jewish identity, with a budget of a quarter of a billion shekels (about $70 million) over the next two years, and will gain control of the Education Ministry’s department for external educational programs. … Mr. Maoz explained why he is so interested in the department. ‘There are currently about 3,000 curriculums written by progressive, radical-left nongovernmental organizations funded by foreign organizations and the European Union,’ he said. ‘Are they there to strengthen the Jewish state? Of course not. They want to make Israel a state like all the states. Who will make sure that they write programs for Jewish identity instead of plans for a state for all its citizens? That’s my job.’” Compare this to Mein Kampf:

According to The New York Times, “Andrew Tate, a former professional kickboxer and online personality who frequently made misogynistic comments about women to his large following on social media sites, was detained by the authorities in Romania on Thursday in an investigation of human trafficking and rape, according to the police. … Prosecutors said that the local authorities had carried out searches of homes they believed were connected to human trafficking and rape. The authorities said they were investigating whether the suspects created a criminal group in 2021 to engage in human trafficking in Romania, the United States and Britain.”

Let’s not kid ourselves. Tate is also a pedophile. Where there is sex and human trafficking, there are underage girls. Full stop! And let us also not pretend that these people do not know each other. The adage, “birds of a feather flock together,” is exceedingly accurate.
