But when he overslept for the trial, he had to spend 10 days in jail — despite not having a criminal record.” Yes, being a juror is an important responsibility, but I think a fine and a warning is more appropriate. That is why they have alternate jurors. But this is racist Florida, and a black man did it. So, now he’s a criminal. I like to see the last time a white person overslept for jury duty in Florida and went to jail. Of course, if he has ever voted RepubliKKKlan then he deserves jail because there is no excuse for voting for a political party that perpetuates the racism that imprisoned him. Elections have consequences! Welcome to stupid America!
