Look! Killing Roe is meant to help avert the Great Replacement. Coupled with controlling women’s bodies, this is the primary goal of the white Christian nationalists sitting on SCOTUS and in government. Now, now. I already hear your objections: Killing Roe impacts poor minority groups the most, which are allegedly the groups engendering the Great Replacement. To be sure, poor minority groups would be most impacted by banning abortions, but there is a reason why white nationalists want to push abortions into the back alleys because, mind you, abortions are not going away; they’re just going to become more deadly, and that is the point. If black and brown people can’t get an abortion legally, then they are more likely to die trying or be jailed for succeeding. Either way, they cannot reproduce to replace whitey. These RepubliKKKlans, MAGA morons, evil evangelicals, and QAnon kooks are counting on white pregnant women forced to give birth to outnumber the darkies. I have been listening to the apologetic arguments by dumbass Democrats over the termination of Roe. While they have finally been making much noise (sound and fury), they are all missing a cohesive, pithy catchphrase. Imagine that! Dumbass Democrats don’t have a coordinated message! The day after the Alito opinion killing Roe leaked, RepubliKKKlans had three pages of talking points to set the messaging swiftly. Democrats, of course, have nothing, so each Senator and Congressperson is left to present their own disconnected set of views, which are all essentially aligned, but it’s not effective. I did hear Senator Schumer describe the “horror” of overturning Roe. Ugh! The use of “horror” connotes some lousy movie. That man is a disastrous leader of the senate and Democrats. He just always seems to miss the f***ing mark with his language and political maneuvers. I can’t wait to hear him exclaim “shame” to McConnell or other RepubliKKKlans as if they have any. Kill me now. These are the people fighting for women’s rights! We’re screwed. Nonetheless, Democrats fail to establish and repeat — ad nauseam — that one phrase voters need to remember.

The similarities are striking, and the regression in Afghanistan after 20 years of progress is a reminder that nothing is permanent; progress is ephemeral; humanity reverts to old conservative habits. How are these two firmly and long-held public opinions similar? They are meaningless! F***ing meaningless! There is a vast gulf between what people “claim” they support and how much they actually care about their own convictions. America is awash with gun violence. While there is collective outrage over mass killings in schools as a matter of routine, the collective will to do anything about it is zero. Overturning Roe is going to be exactly the same thing: A bunch of rage but no actual action to do anything. Mark my words, morons! People will be pissed, but they’ll be more than happy to elect and re-elect those same politicians who will perpetuate that rage because no one cares. Smartest Man in Democratic Politics
James Carville is brilliant and absolutely correct. If ending Roe cannot motivate Democrats, then nothing will and nothing can be done for these people (and the country). Guess what? He wasn’t sure this matter would be enough, and I’m here to tell you that it won’t be enough! People just don’t care, and even if they did care, they don’t care enough to do something about women’s rights, i.e., vote. I’m only saying this to prepare America for a significant letdown come November. It is not enough to march in the streets, picket before SCOTUS, and rage against the machine. People must vote, and as it stands now, with RepubliKKKlans ever more entrenched in greater than half the states, normal voter turnout would certainly be insufficient. Indeed, a higher-than-average turnout would still be lacking. Perhaps an exceedingly high Democratic turnout might achieve the necessary results, but that is akin to winning the lottery. Moreover, RepubliKKKlans have rigged the system in their favor by putting election deniers in charge of conducting and counting election results. To be sure, people gabble with their rights when they fail to vote, and Americans have been losing for many years. They’re about to lose their houses! Welcome to stupid America!

Louisiana is about to charge women obtaining abortions as murders. From The Daily Beast, “A bill in Louisiana that is working its way through the House would make those involved in an abortion—including patients and doctors—subject to homicide charges. House Bill 813, which claims life should be protected upon fertilization, cleared the House Appropriations Committee by a vote of 7-2 Wednesday.”
This law is one logical extension of ending Roe that I have not written about, but of course, states are already advancing maximalist legislation. It is not enough to ban abortions; they must codify punishment. Everything RepubliKKKlans do is to subdue women and all minorities. It is only a matter of time before all conservative legislatures criminalize abortions. Many women and doctors are going to prison, but fear not, people! Fear not! There is nothing to fear but fear itself, for no one cares. I promise that half the population is telling themselves that the abortion issue does not pertain to them, so they don’t care.
