According to The Hill, “Ontario Premier Doug Ford said three states would face tariffs on electricity after a week of President Trump’s swipes at Canada with fluctuating trade policies. ‘I love Americans. It’s been 20 years of my life. But in saying that, no, we’re going to put a 25 percent tariff on electricity coming from Ontario to Michigan, New York and Minnesota,’ Ford said during a Thursday appearance on Fox Business Network’s ‘The Claman Countdown.’ The leader said new tariffs are scheduled to be implemented Monday in an effort to push back on Trump’s international economic measures. ‘And isn’t this a shame? It’s an absolute mess. He’s created chaos. He ran on a mandate. The lower cost, lower inflation, create more jobs. It’s the total opposite,’ Ford said.”
Ya know what? Ford better follow through. If he doesn’t, then it’s all stupid, weak talk, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. I’m getting real f***ing sick of inaction and weakness from the opposition — foreign and domestic. I’m sick of the fact that it’s taken this long for f***tard voters to finally (maybe?) see the light (maybe?) of a Dictator Don second term. (His job approval remains incomprehensibly higher compared to this same point in his first term. He’s managed to do more damage quicker, yet people like him more. Un-f***ing-believable! The only way idiots of America will learn — and I’m really only speaking to the sliver of voters in the “middle” that handed The Don! his 2024 election victory by voting for him or staying home — is when they feel the consequences of their vote or their failure to vote at all in 2024. It’s the only way! Sadly, Americans are too f***ing stupid to think abstractly; they are incapable of thinking two minutes into the future to foresee the ramifications of voting for a convicted felon who has repeatedly expressed his disdain for democracy, or, worse still, were too apathetic to vote at all, gambling on lady luck to bring them prosperity under another four years of the Dictator Don sh*t show. The only way these people “understand” (for lack of a better word) the consequences of their actions (or inaction) is to feel them and feel them harshly. Canada taxing the electricity they provide to Americans seems to be the only concrete, direct consequence they can apprehend. These f***tard voters really are no more intelligent than Pavlov’s dog. Cause and effect for morons of America need to be direct, timely, and severe, lest they fail to appreciate the correlation between Dictator Don’s policies and the impact on the average American’s wallet.
Now, now. I can hear the pushback already. Canada provides electricity to blue states, so why wish hardship on blue state populations? Well, to that I say this: There are RepubliKKKlans and MAGA morons in the rural parts of blue states who these electricity tariffs will hurt, and I’m all for that! Not to mention, there are tens of millions of voters who came out for Biden in 2020 but failed to show up to the polls in 2024 for Harris, so if some of these people get caught up in the [T]rump energy tax, then so be it! Maybe they’ll think twice before sitting out the next election. Sorry, but I’m getting closer to the notion that perhaps we do have to throw out the baby with the bath water if that’s what it will take to wake this sh*t-for-brains country the f*** up!
