Axios headline reads, “College students’ 2020 picks don’t differ much from older generations.” This is why I have never ascribed to the notion that the next generation is going to be the savior of the future because they tend to vote like their parents anyways. That is to say, too many young adults still perpetuate the conservative ideals of mommy and daddy. There is simply not enough progressives — who actually vote — to overcome the steadfastness of conservative voters. For some reason, conservativism like any disease breeds more pervasively than progressivism. Welcome to stupid America.
