Enough With Hurricane Ian Because Russia!

We’re going on day three of non-stop hurricane coverage. WTF! Stop it already. Yeah, we get it! Total destruction. “Unprecedented!” Catastrophic! Record-breaking! A 1-in-500-year hurricane with a 1-in-1000-year rainfall. (All of which will be broken in a few years — thank you, climate change deniers!) Blah, blah, blah.

Nonetheless, has the MSM completely forgotten that Putin has basically stolen Ukrainian land, and the world barely blinked? I think a CNN analyst put it well, “In the longer term, the annexations will crystalize the reason why the United States and its allies have been so adamant about helping Ukraine’s war effort. The war threatens to enshrine a precedent of a bigger, powerful nation simply marching into a smaller one and seizing its territory on a spurious rationale. That scenario is not just a threat at the fringes of Europe; it is one that could arise around the world and be replicated by other autocratic regimes. It represents a fundamental challenge to the international rule of law if allowed to stand. And it tests the principle of the Western-led post-World War II world that free peoples have the right to choose their own national and political destinies.” And OMG, I’m about to agree with Ms. Lindsey Graham when he said, “‘We have to help our friends and neighbors here at home but we also have to stand up for what’s right abroad. So we are dealing with Hurricane Putin, for the lack of a better word. He’s trying to rewrite the map of Europe, he’s trying to do by force of arms what he can’t do to the political process.’” Wake up, MSM and Americans! This conflict is a few inches from World War III, and everyone is focused on anything else. Welcome to stupid America. We’ll just ignore our way through this until it’s too late.
