As the MSM covers and reveals the destruction of hurricane Ian, I can only think about all the f***ing trash strewn about everywhere and swept out to sea. No doubt, with this hurricane, cars, appliances, boats, homes, and whatever random items that were not bolted to the ground have been swept out to sea, further adding to the countless tons and tons of garbage the oceans and waterways collect every year. Humanity treats the planet like one giant f***ing toilet, and no one cares. Moreover, all the destroyed vehicles, houses, trailer homes, boats, appliances, furniture, and what have you will end up in some f***ing landfill because that’s what we do. We bury our problems. Out of sight, out of mind. Entire islands have been built on landfills. But think of all the trash that “decays” in these vast pits. And by decay, I really mean it goes nowhere, such as plastic and glass. What does degrade seeps into the ground, poisoning the soil and groundwater as gravity works its will. God! We treat Mother Earth like one f***ing giant garbage bin, and we wonder why she’s starting to fight back. We don’t live in harmony with nature; we live in spite of it. We curse it. We dominate it, if we can, in the name of human ingenuity and manifest destiny. Eventually, we’ll lose. Welcome to stupid America!
