From Raw Story, “A video posted by drag queen Juicy Garland shows a neo-Nazi group interrupting a drag queen story hour in Concord, New Hampshire on Sunday morning. Garland posted the video to her Twitter, showing members of the group sieg heiling three times, before pounding on the window of the Teatotaller café. The video was captioned ‘We’ve got some verified Nazis today! Golly, I didn’t order those.’”
I have no f***ing clue why these neo-Nazi terrorists are allowed to keep getting away with this sh*t. I mean, I do have a sense as to why. Americans either love or have an ambivalence toward domestic terrorist groups. I mean, everything is excused as some First Amendment right. The right to hate speech. The right to form a terrorist group. The right to terrorize. The right to intimidate. These neo-Nazis are above reproach to Americans because they are protected under the First Amendment when exercising their “God-given” right to hate and threaten the general public. Americans simply let these people continue, and the government does nothing except tacitly condone neo-Nazi’s version of “free speech” by also doing nothing; Americans and the government alike are complicit in neo-Nazis’ behavior. At the very least, those neo-Nazis would all be beaten to within an inch of their life by the public. And in the best-case scenario, they would each get a bullet in their head. But, no! Americans love their terrorists, and this is a consequence-free society. Domestic terrorists keep on terrorizing. A former president keeps on criming — and getting away with it. The RepubliKKKlan party keeps dragging the country further towards fascism. It’s all connected, f***tards! Americans love it because they allow it or, worse still, ignore it, hoping it magically goes away.
And then there is this nugget from The Marshall Project, “The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) has a host of policies controlling which books people can have in prisons, how they can get them, and what they can do with them. Incarcerated people in Ohio have been denied access to books like a U.S. Army survival manual, ‘The Witches’ Bible,’ several computer programming guides, prison abolition literature, and a book about imprisoned drug lord El Chapo. Among the books ultimately allowed through in recent years are ‘The Art of Seduction,’ a compilation of letters to ‘Penthouse,’ ‘Mein Kampf,’ a coloring book featuring designs with profane language, and a different book about El Chapo.” Mein Kampf!
