From The Times of Israel, “Hundreds of people stormed into the main airport in Russia’s Dagestan region and onto the landing field on Sunday evening in an attempt to confront Jewish passengers aboard a flight from Israel. The violence in the mostly Muslim region, which erupted amid the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, prompted Israel to call on Russia to protect its citizens. The protesters, many of them chanting ‘Allahu Akbar’ (God is greatest), broke through doors and barriers, with some running onto the runway, according to videos posted on social media and Russia’s RT and Izvestia media.”
Two things here: (1) There is absolutely no redeeming quality of the state of Russia; it is a sh*thole country from start to finish and so are the citizens. (2) Islam is a sh*t religion, and I don’t care if I’m painting with too large a paintbrush. I will judge an entire people and its religion by the worst of its adherents. Full stop! So what? What are you going to do about it? Come at me, bro! I don’t know what it is about this Israel-Hamas war that is forcing me to be more pro-Israel (and by extension less anti-Netanyahu — ick!) and more anti-Muslim, but that’s where I’m headed. Indeed, war makes for strange bed-fellows.
