According to NBCNews, “This week, dozens of Christian creators on TikTok prepared for what they thought would be a biblical Rapture. In Australia, Tilahun Desalegn said he sold his car. Thousands of miles away in Colorado, Melissa Johnston created flowcharts and care packages for those who would be left behind. In Chicago, De’Mico Harden began documenting the signs — pointing out anytime the clock struck 9:23, a date that was among the three-day window when the Rapture was supposed to take place. But by Wednesday afternoon, no such end had come — instead, confusion and disappointment had set in for some believers. Many had been posting videos to TikTok about what people should expect when the Rapture occurs, namely that Jesus will take true believers to heaven as Earth enters an apocalypse. … The prediction that the Rapture would begin on Sept. 23, during the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah, appeared to originate with a South African pastor named Joshua Mhlakela, who had shared his theory in an interview with religious YouTube channel Centtwinz TV in June.”
Just more proof that humanity is simply too f***ing stupid to survive. One would think that morons of the world and history (i.e., plebeians throughout time) would finally get a f***ing clue. Do you know how long humans have been predicting the Rapture? Any guesses from morons out there? Anyone? Anyone at all? I’ll tell you, 2000 years! Yes, basically for as long as Christianity has been a religion, people have been predicting the End Times, and every f***ing time they are disappointed, yet remain undeterred. With every new generation of morons breeding progressively dumber morons, the story is the same: The end is coming. “Mark my words,” they proclaim. Alas, the end never comes, but people continue to believe, embarrassing themselves and evincing that humanity is just as stupid as all religion demands them to be. Not to mention it is blasphemous for someone to think they know the mind of God. “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father” (Matthew 24:26, KJV). Yet “devout” Christians never seem to let their own blasphemy get in the way of proselytizing. But if someone else blasphemes, then watch out! Then we add on TikTok, the app that actively makes people dumber, and we wonder why Rapture talk goes viral. Honestly, all these people should self-rapture; the collective IQ of humanity would double. If only we were so lucky. Whatever! The end is here in one sense, as I’ve been saying for years: The end of humanity’s enlightenment. (And no one cares!) I live in stupid f***ing hell!
