SCOTUS: American Theocracy Is Here

No surprise here: SCOTUS weakened the separation of church and state in their Kennedy v. Bremerton School District decision. I quote Justice Sotomayor’s dissent, “Today, the Court once again weakens the backstop. It elevates one individual’s interest in personal religious exercise, in the exact time and place of that individual’s choosing, over society’s interest in protecting the separation between church and state, eroding the protections for religious liberty for all. Today’s decision is particularly misguided because it elevates the religious rights of a school official, who voluntarily accepted public employment and the limits that public employment entails, over those of his students, who are required to attend school and who this Court has long recognized are particularly vulnerable and deserving of protection. In doing so, the Court sets us further down a perilous path in forcing States to entangle themselves with religion, with all of our rights hanging in the balance. As much as the Court protests otherwise, today’s decision is no victory for religious liberty. I respectfully dissent.”

So, there we have it. Everything I predicted upon RBG’s death is coming to fruition. Now, SCOTUS is eviscerating the separation of church and state in the name of freedom, but really that freedom is to impose their religious Christian theocracy upon the rest of us. And make no mistake about it; only Christianity is the accepted religion in America, given the Court’s now exclusive reliance on their “history and traditions” test to evaluate Constitutional law. So, Jews and Muslims get to the back of the bus. Non-religious people? Well, according to this Court, you have no place in America’s new theocratic regime. I used to say this is coming, but, in fact, it is here — now! Today! And it will only get worse.

Just wait, f***tards. They’re coming for the gays under the guise of religious liberty. What happens when a teacher can’t be fired for openly praying in a classroom to “cast out the gays.” Wow! First Amendment rights are given more importance than preventing a hostile environment. Legalizing discrimination because of the First Amendment and because of the “history and traditions” of America will be next. Oh sure, perhaps the justices were actually telling the truth in the Dobbs decision when they said Obergefell is not on the chopping under examination of the Fourteenth Amendment. They’ll do away with marriage equality via the First Amendment. They will legalize gay hate in the name of their religious freedom. Mark my words, f***tards. You idiots have no idea just how bad America is going to become! I warned you nearly two years ago. I was right then, and I’m right now. Welcome to stupid America! America is dead!
