OMG. I can’t take this oxymoron anymore, and I’m not talking about MTG. I have heard Twitter use the term “permanently suspended” (and MSM repeat it) so many times that I needed to look up the definitions of the individual words to confirm my sanity, thinking that all my life I misunderstood the words suspend and permanent. Taking the most common definitions of both words, one can only conclude the juxtaposition creates an insufferable oxymoron that people keep repeating. Granted, there is a lesser-used definition of each word which are subtle departures from their common use that makes the oxymoron less tortured, but seriously! Nonetheless, on its face, “permanently suspended” means forever temporary. F*** me! I can’t! Just say she has been banned! Until, of course, she’s not because this is stupid America where nothing is permanent, except the idiocracy.
