Well, it would appear that the M.S.M., on both sides of the political spectrum, can’t help but fall all over themselves to praise the Dear Leader! I suppose the mildest form of criticism comes from those who qualify their praise of the strike by literally stating upfront “without giving [T]trump too much credit” — or something to that effect — and then go on to give him credit for pulling off such an audacious attack on Iran. There is a reason why much smarter and more measured presidents and other political and military leaders have thought twice about attacking Iran. Then this sh*t-for-brains country re-elected Dictator Don, who always shoots from the hip, goes it alone, measures once then cuts, governs from his gut instead of his brain, and can’t not let his ego and swagger get in the way of sound judgment. This is the guy morons of America want making the most consequential foreign policy decisions. Un-f***ing-believable! Yet, the political and professional pundit class, along with other “experts,” can’t help but fawn over The Don’s “decisive” decision. Look, f***tards, the second- and third-order consequences of this strike are what’s most essential and were likely given only passing consideration as the administration is now warning Iran not to react — as if inaction from Iran is going to happen.
Of course, the counterargument is that Iran has never been weaker, so this is the time to strike. Their proxy forces in the region have been eliminated or severely weakened. While this is true, Iran has plenty more options to retaliate against the U.S., namely, terrorist and cyber attacks. Iran has sympathizers across the globe, not just in Syria, Yemen, and Gaza. They are everywhere and can be activated at any time. Dare I say, not activated, for these people are more likely than not to be self-activated. They don’t need explicit orders from Iran. The planning has already been completed. Now it’s just a matter of taking action, and with F.B.I. resources being redirected to capture immigrants, that leaves our counterterrorism capabilities weakened. Yeah, we’re not the only country that shot ourselves in the foot. All I know is that when Biden was in office, I didn’t have to worry about a terrorist attack, but now we do, as even the D.H.S. has raised the threat level of a domestic terrorist attack. Eh, this is what Americans vote for; this is what idiot voters wanted; this is what Americans deserve. Oh, well. Welcome to stupid America.
