From KALB news, “An elderly member of Life Tabernacle Church in Central, La. has died of the novel coronavirus, according to a coroner’s report. However, there is no clear way of determining where the man actually contracted his illness. Tony Spell, the pastor of that church, disputes the coroner’s findings, saying the man died of another medical condition. ‘That is a lie,’ Spell said of the coroner’s findings when reached by phone Thursday. Spell has come under criticism for repeatedly violating an order by Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards that bans gatherings of more than 10 people. Since the governor’s order was put in place last month, Spell has frequently held church services with hundreds of people in attendance. Last month, police filed six misdemeanor charges against Spell, accusing him of violating the governor’s executive order.”

According to CNN, “New York and other hot spots are experiencing prolonged peaks of the coronavirus pandemic while southern states may not get hit as hard as earlier projected, experts say.” Clearly, population density is a significant factor in propagating the spread of SARS 2. It also appears that warmer weather may have some mitigating impact — if only incidental — on the virus as well, which, in the end, means the disease will be deceptively more deadly come to Autumn as people incorrectly believe the worst is behind us. Welcome to stupid America! Not enough morons have died yet! Don’t even get me started on the social distancing truthers and insurgents. As if there is not enough stupidity to go around in America.

The closure puts the country’s meat supply at risk, said the CEO of Smithfield, which operates the plant.” Let’s make a couple of assumptions here. First, employees are transmitting SARS 2 to each other at work. And second, apparently, these plants are just as disgusting as I never wanted to imagine. Shouldn’t these workers be practicing the highest and strictest of cleanliness and presumably personal hygiene practices? Given the most likely method of spreading SARS 2 is coughing or sneezing and not washing hands, then how is this being spread in a facility where people should not be openly coughing and sneezing and should be washing hands and everything else obsessively? All this reinforces my notion that people are just f***ing generally disgusting, especially those who handle our food!
