From Politico, “British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has tested positive for coronavirus, he announced Friday, making him the first major world leader to contract the illness that has sparked a global pandemic.” I have this feeling that SARS 2 is far more infectious than experts understand. Given Boris, Prince Charles, and other high-level government officials in countries around the world, infection among these ranks is still occurring even though one presumably assumes that such individuals are taking particular and especially careful safety measures to avoid becoming infected. So, either these people are still acting recklessly (very likely with Boris who is a pandemic denier like traitor trump) or SARS 2 is extremely contagious (with R-0 > 2). Mark my words, morons. We are far, far from the worst happening even though the U.S. stock market has been skyrocketing over the last three days — pure stupidity! (I used to think the market was always efficient and embodied perfect knowledge; now I understand it’s just a market of lunacy, wishful thinking, and fear-mongering. But I digress.)
