The Judiciary Protecting Criminals as Usual
From Axios, “Former national security adviser Michael Flynn filed court papers on Tuesday to withdraw his guilty plea related to allegedly lying to the FBI about his contacts with Russia’s ambassador to the U.S.” If I remember correctly, a federal judge delayed sentencing because he wanted the government to reconsider its light recommendation (the judge can always ignore such recommendations) for the punishment of a defendant the judge just fell short of calling a traitor, and now after more delays in sentencing Flynn is about to withdraw his guilty plea — and the courts will allow it. Mark my words, morons. He can change his plea anytime before sentencing, which the courts have been more than willing to give him ample time to avoid. Welcome to stupid America where traitor trump supporters will get away with it (whatever it is) eventually! I can’t anymore. I just f***ing can’t! This country is just too stupid!
