OMG! This is it, isn’t it? I am not ready for this! I was not old enough nor much of an Anglophile or royal watcher at the time of Princess Diana’s death to appreciate its significance. However, being a history lover, the death of Queen Elizabeth II would be a monumental event as she marks the end of a genuinely glorious era. Just think, she is old enough to have aided in the World War II effort to defeat fascism in Europe. Although she was not Queen, she helped the allies defeat Hitler. Think about that! How many veterans of the world’s greatest fight — the fight that defines everything we are living today — remain? How ironic that we are about to lose an icon who fought fascism and reigned during the Cold War as the West fought authoritarianism only to witness fascism rise in America and the West struggling to fight ascending authoritarianism in Europe once again. Queen Elizabeth’s life is an uncanny bookend of an era of history we are about to repeat. God save the Queen for as long as He may.

They want to erase the LGBTQ community from society, and they’re starting with Florida! Full! F***ing! Stop! As Axios reports, “The Miami-Dade School Board late Wednesday rejected a measure recognizing October as LGBTQ History Month, fearing that doing so would violate the state’s Parental Rights in Education Bill, dubbed by critics as ‘Don’t Say Gay,’ Politico reports. … The meeting lasted hours and drew protests from parents, teachers and students. It’s the latest example of how school boards have emerged as ground zero for culture wars, particularly in the Sunshine State. … The 8-1 vote also blocked a proposal that would’ve taught 12th graders about two landmark civil rights cases, including Obergefell v. Hodges, which recognized same-sex marriage.”

It is time for another Stonewall uprising, people! Rise up and arm up, LGBTQ community, before it’s too late. How galling is it that one of the largest school systems in the country cannot teach historical facts (e.g., Obergefell v. Hodges) to high school seniors — some of whom are legal adults, and I’m sure are mature enough to be confronted with the fact that there are gay people in the world. The state has succeeded in suppressing the discussion of LGBTQ issues because snowflake RepubliKKKlans, MAGA morons, evil evangelicals, and QAnon kooks are offended by the gays. This is beyond dangerous. The point is to eventually force all the gays back into the closet and live in the shadows. At worst, Americans want to establish a theocracy, and at best, they are indifferent to it. All this sh*t starts somewhere. They are micro-steps, so few people notice until all of a sudden it’s too late. And don’t rely on the courts to save minorities’ rights, for they have become almost wholly captured by Christo-fascists. Remember: WWSD?

Rise up, my gays! Rise up, for they will not stop at denying you life-saving medication and marriage equality and rejecting your mere existence. No, they will only stop when the killing is complete. Arise! Arise to fight. It is kill or be killed. What side of that equation do you plan to be on?

From The Hill, “President Biden is leading former President Trump by 6 points in a hypothetical 2024 presidential match-up, new polling shows. In a Yahoo News-YouGov poll released Wednesday, 48 percent of registered voters said they’d cast their ballot for Biden’ if the 2024 election were held today,’ while 42 percent said they’d vote for Trump. Biden held a 3-point lead in the hypothetical 2020 rematch in a similar August poll. Trump’s support was steady across both surveys.” This is not bad news, and it’s another poll evincing that Biden continues to trend in the right direction when just six months ago, I could find more polls putting traitor trump even or ahead of Biden. So, I won’t complain (much), but six points are not enough.

I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but national polls are not national elections. This is where I remind people not to become sanguine when they see Biden on the ascendency; this is not the time for voters, especially dumbass Democrats, to feel relieved and wash their hands of the obligation to vote because Biden’s “got this” after all. No, no! This is where I must also remind readers about the 2020 election. I have stated this many, many times in previous posts, but I will save you the trouble of searching by restating my admonitions here. Biden won the three closest states that put him over the top of 270 electoral votes by fewer popular votes than the three closest (different) states traitor trump won to beat Hillary. Specifically, in 2016, a roughly 70,000 vote difference put traitor trump in the White House. By comparison, in 2020, Biden won by approximately a 30,000 vote difference. Mind you, I am not referring to the national popular vote — Biden and Hillary bested traitor trump by several million in both elections. I’m only talking about the popular votes in the three closest states that determined who won the required 270 Electoral College votes. In short, given everything traitor trump put the country through in his four years, more people wanted four more years of that mess.

To be sure, 2024 will be even closer just because it is, and America is a f***ing mess of stupidity. Moreover, RepubliKKKlans have worked very hard over the last two years to make cheating and stealing the next election easier. It is very possible that at least one state that Biden needed to win in 2020 could be headed by election deniers who refuse to certify a Biden win in 2024, in which case there would be a full-on Constitutional crisis. Who would prevail in such turmoil? One might think it is the incumbent political party in power, but we all know democrats are weak, and I think Biden would defer to a corrupt election loss to “save America” from further turmoil a la Al Gore. The consequence, though, would be the final days of America’s Democracy. So, in the end, I don’t trust any polls, and I am not confident in any margin Biden may have over traitor trump. The only poll that matters is the next presidential election, and even then, the margin of victory must be a blowout lest RepubliKKKlans steal that election and crown king traitor trump. What could possibly go wrong? Welcome to stupid America!

According to CNN, “A federal judge in Texas on Wednesday declared unconstitutional an Affordable Care Act requirement that insurers and employers offer plans that cover HIV-prevention drugs for free, saying it violates the religious freedom of a Christian-owned company.” This is one aspect that I comment on in another post. But this ruling goes further: “As part of the ruling, O’Connor declared unconstitutional part of the broader preventive services mandate, which requires insurers and employers to cover at no charge screenings for cancer and heart disease, as well as programs for smoking cessation, among many others. However, the judge upheld certain free preventive services for children, such as autism and vision screenings and well-baby visits, and for women, such as mammograms, well-woman visits and breastfeeding support programs. O’Connor also upheld the mandate that provides immunizations at no charge for the flu, hepatitis, measles, shingles and chickenpox. At issue is whether the United States Preventive Services Task Force, an independent, volunteer panel of national experts in disease prevention and evidence-based medicine, could determine what general preventive services would be covered for adults under the mandate.”

These conservative judges! I hate them all. But animosity aside, let’s recognize the real aim of this legislation: To kill the ACA. Full stop! Once again, ACA-haters have brought suit to complain and b*tch about some aspect of the law that forces them to care for people. This is just one more back-door attempt to get SCOTUS to rule the law unconstitutional. This will be the fourth attempt. Indeed, I think this time could work. Unlike most previous attempts, SCOTUS is now a 6-3 conservative supermajority. Even though SCOTUS voted in favor of upholding the ACA with a ruling last year, plaintiffs learn something with every case they lose to kill the ACA. At some point, they’ll find the right lawsuit to get before SCOTUS to kill it outright or by a thousand cuts. Sound familiar? Can you say Roe? Mark my words, morons. As with Roe, they are coming to end the ACA because that’s precisely what most Americans don’t want, but this is America where the actual majority of Americas live by minority rule. Whatever. Welcome to stupid America! We never learn.

How many times do I have to keep saying it? How many f***ing times? Allow me to repeat myself — again. Rise up, LGBTQ community! Rise up! Prepare to fight for your lives — literally — for they are coming to kill you! To what am I referring? Read this from Axios: “A federal judge in Texas on Wednesday ruled that the government cannot require a Christian-owned company to cover HIV preventative medication because it violates their religious rights under federal law. HIV PrEP — which is more than 90% effective in preventing the transmission of HIV — is recommended for adults who are at high risk of getting HIV, which includes men who have sex with other men. The plaintiffs in the case — six individuals and two Christian-owned businesses, Braidwood Management and Kelley Orthodontics — had argued that they should not be mandated to offer coverage of HIV PrEP because they did not want to encourage ‘homosexual behavior.’” Of course! I expected nothing less.

First of all, when I last checked, straight people contract and live with HIV, and I assume straight people would appreciate being on PrEP if they are in a straight relationship with someone who is positive. So, this is not necessarily a “gay only” problem. But people want it to be, so whatever. I guess citizens don’t care if government and corporations impose their morality in the bedroom — for the gays. Second, we all know the genuine underlying motivation of this lawsuit (and others like it): Let the gays die from AIDS. They’re just one step away from barring the ACA from having insurers cover drugs to treat HIV. Just watch. That will become the next “religious” exception. Indeed, Christo-fascists and evil evangelicals pray for it! And, of course, RepubliKKKlans and conservative judges are more than willing to oblige helping make their dreams come true. Naturally, a case like this should immediately conjure the following question: What would SCOTUS do (WWSD)? This should sound familiar to Christian nutjobs with the oft incorrectly answered (lived) and misunderstood WWJD trope. Christ-on-the-f***ing-cross! If I have to see one more WWJD rubber wrist bracelet! They really don’t exist anymore because I think fake Christians (all Christians) finally realized that donning such a piece of hypocrisy-wear hurt their feelings as they had to frequently confront the disconformity of their actions with the actual teachings of Christ. That is, of course, if they were cognizant of their hypocrisy in the first place, which I assume is rarely. I think Christians would rather not have to act like Christ; rather, they prefer the vengeful God of the Old Testament. Living that reality is much more fun and hurtful! There is a reason why Jesus was spurned in his day. Nothing has changed 2000 years later. Different era, same Homo Erectus. But I digress.

So, with this verdict having been rendered by a Texas judge, WWSD? Answer: Completely uphold the ruling, thereby giving every company license to discriminate against the gays (and everyone) who wants PrEP. This country is trending so far and so fast hard into a dysfunctional democracy ruled by religion that it’s going to be impossible to reverse course, especially with a federal judiciary dominated by Christo-fascists who are hell-bent on upholding and imposing their Christan morality on everyone else. Remember, Judaism and Islam are not legitimate religions to Christo-fascists. So rise up, gays! Are you willing to kill or be killed? They are coming for you. Remember that! According to reporting from the Anti-Defamation League, “Traditionally, militias have largely eschewed engaging with civic institutions on an organizational level. However, in some ways, the Oath Keepers’ tactics presaged a shift across the far right. The group places a focus on seeking institutional power by specifically targeting current and former law enforcement, military, and emergency services personnel with their messaging and recruitment in the hopes that they will be able to utilize these unique skillsets to advance their cause and that the presence of group members in these institutions will obstruct any order, law, or action that the organization deems unconstitutional. A review of these membership lists revealed that while there are many members of law enforcement, military, and first responders in the membership rolls, there are also elected officials, government employees, teachers, religious figures, and businessmen, among others. … [T]he range of individuals represented in the Oath Keepers leak shows the extent to which this extremist ideology has gained acceptance [emphasis added].” Therein lies the problem in the last part of the excerpt.

Now, many will claim there have always been radicals everywhere in society, so identifying fascists in positions of power and elsewhere is nothing new. True, but everything changed after traitor trump and the insurrectionists’ attack on the Capitol. Nothing can be compared in the light of “there has always been” anymore, for there has never been, until now, a growing acceptance and willingness to end America’s democracy, coupled with a relentless swath of apathy among the citizenry. Authoritarians are taking hold not so much because people want it but because people are not paying attention and don’t care. Additionally, dumbass Democrats are completely feckless and unaware of the growing problem. Oh, sure, now they may realize the potential threat since January 6, but where were they over the last decade when RepubliKKKlans and evil evangelicals took over state and local governments? Democrats were clueless, and all those same Christo-fascist factions are still entrenched (and more so) today in government and positions of power. The disease is well beyond curing and soon beyond treatment. Welcome to stupid America!

Norah O’Donnell from CBS News interviewed Hillary Clinton. I watched, and I have to say, every time I think about how America wronged her and hated her for no reason, it boils my blood. I hate America for hating her. The only reason to hate her is because of pure stupidity and love for blood-lust vitriol. Hillary has been right about everything. Everything! She nailed the ruin and danger traitor trump would bring upon America if he won the presidency. Guess what, f***tards. She was right. Every warning, every caution, every prediction, and every hair-on-fire plea she made to the public, she nailed — absolutely. She saw traitor trump for what he was long before anyone else did. Yet, America, in its infinite stupidity then and now, still ignores her and despises her. Moreover, she would have been a great president, perhaps one of the greatest. Unquestionably! Yet stupid, f***tarded Americans weighed her diverse and deep experience and qualifications only to throw all that out the window to elect the stupid, fat man. You know, the man that most resembles the majority of Americans. Un-f***ing-believable. Yeah, America cannot be saved. This level of stupidity and misogyny is too pervasive and cannot be undone. Oh, well. Welcome to stupid America. Hillary was always right!

From Rolling Stone, “According to The Washington Post, several anonymous sources familiar with the ongoing investigation into Trump’s illegal stash of government property at Mar-a-Lago told the publication that the document detailing an unidentified ‘foreign government’s nuclear-defense readiness’ was located amongst the materials recovered by authorities between January and August of this year. The publication notes that such information is generally only provided to individuals on what the U.S. government calls a ‘need-to-know basis,’ and that records associated with foreign government programs are heavily guarded and stored in secure facilities — procedures that, as evidence suggests, were not adhered to at Mar-a-Lago.”

Meh, yeah. So? Really, I mean it. So, what? Who cares? No one! Look, f***tards. The worse the news gets for traitor trump, I think the more America tunes all of it out because they are just exhausted by him, but they would gladly vote for him again — just look at any poll where a head-to-head match-up with Biden is generally within the margin of error. Un-f***ing-believable. Whatever! Traitor trump single-handedly destroyed America and continues to destroy what’s left, yet half the nation loves him for it! Oh, well. Americans get the government they deserve and desire; they elected traitor trump, and the country is still living through the consequences of the disaster that was his presidency. So, traitor trump went judge shopping, particularly for a federal judge he appointed that would produce the desired judgment, and the judge delivered — of course. U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon ruled in his favor and literally stopped the D.O.J. from proceeding with the investigation using the documents retrieved via a lawful search warrant after traitor trump failed to comply with a subpoena. The judge is basically obstructing justice by forcing the D.O.J. to conduct an investigation without access to the underlying evidence of the suspected crime. Un-f***ing-believable.

I have heard some ask what’s the harm in designating a special master? Why not err on the side of transparency and extra caution to gain the public’s confidence? I’ll tell you why: Because she placed traitor trump above the law. Once again, Traitor trump gets away with it; he always gets away with everything. I wish people would finally wake the f*** up! But what else is new? It never f***ing fails with this guy. Everyone places him above the law, including the D.O.J. And that is the underlying problem. It’s the First Axiom, stupid!

But what is the real goal here? Simple: To delay and taint the entire legal process and the case against the orange criminal. Traitor trump is an expert at this; he’s been doing it all his life. And people (e.g., past plaintiffs, past creditors, and the D.O.J.) have allowed him to get away with every civil lawsuit and all his criminality. It’s already clear that traitor trump-loving Cannon will keep giving her benefactor the benefit of the doubt. For instance, she instructed the D.O.J. and traitor trump’s legal team to agree upon a list of possible special masters. Do you really think any part of that Venn diagram will intersect? Without an agreement, then guess who ultimately picks the special master? Cannon. Do you think she is going to select a D.O.J. suggestion? No, she’s going to appoint someone that traitor trump’s lawyers recommended in order to show “extra” “careful” “impartiality.” Then the entire case starts going to sh*t as one document after another is declared “privileged” and removed from D.O.J.’s possession. Of course, the government will always have the prerogative to contest any documents flagged by the special master as privileged, but that will lead to lengthy litigation and an appeals process in one of the country’s most conservative (traitor trump-packed) appellate circuits. Ultimately, any legal challenge could end up before SCOTUS. We all know how that will end. So, yeah. This disaster is just getting started. Welcome to stupid America! Traitor trump wins — again.
