Griner Returns Home

I hate RepubliKKKlans with the heat of 1000 white-hot suns. I wish they would all die, without exception! I am particularly piqued this morning by the reaction from RepubliKKKlans to Brittney Griner’s release. Of course, traitor trump is the apex of RepubliKKKlan hypocrisy. As The Independent reports, “Two years after his term in the White House ended without him mentioning his name, Donald Trump is now claiming the Biden administration’s prisoner swap to return wrongfully detained WNBA star Brittney Griner home is a ‘stupid’ and ‘totally one-side transaction’ because it did not include US Marine Corps veteran Paul Whelan. … Despite Mr. Trump’s professed concern for Mr. Whelan, he took no action to free him during his time in the White House when he had the power to do so. … But when it came to Mr. Whelan, Mr. Trump was silent in the weeks and months following his 28 December 2018 arrest, and that silence continued through the final two years of his term as president.”

Naturally, all the other RepubliKKKlans and MAGA morons jump on the bandwagon, claiming Biden failed while completely ignoring traitor trump’s incompetence. It never fucking fails. Never! Yet, RepubliKKKlans keep winning the messaging war because fucking weak, dumbass Democrats let them. Why aren’t the administration and other Democratic spokespeople out in public touting Biden’s success and reminding people that traitor trump left a Marine behind despite his circle-jerk relationship with Putin? If anyone had the greatest access and means to free Whelan while in office, it was traitor trump, but no! He essentially ignored the problem. Yet no one seems to remember that failure, and, worse still, Democrats aren’t reminding people of it. No! Instead, they are allowing RepubliKKKlans to besmirch and deride Biden and Griner without any sense of irony. Whatever. Democrats still are not playing hardball! Welcome to stupid America!

Germany’s Coup Plot: A Warning

According to The New York Times, “The plan was to storm the German Capitol, arrest lawmakers and execute the chancellor. A prince descended from German nobility would take over as the new head of state, and a former far-right member of Parliament would be put in charge of a national purge. … One of the sites raided on Wednesday was a military barracks. Among those detained around the country were a member of the far-right Alternative for Germany, or AfD, party who had served in the German Parliament; a German prince; and a Russian citizen accused of supporting the group’s plans. Federal prosecutors said that they were investigating a total of 27 other suspects as well. Prosecutors said the group was formed in the past year, influenced by the ideologies of the conspiracy group QAnon and a right-wing German conspiracy group called the Reichsbürger, or Citizens of the Reich, which believes that Germany’s post-World War II Republic is not a sovereign country but a corporation set up by the victorious Allies. … In recent years, and especially since the pandemic, the group gained new energy as its followers and thinking combined with the conspiracy theories of the QAnon movement, in particular seeing a threat from the so called ‘deep state,’ a shadowy cabal of corrupt elites they imagine running the government.”

There is so much to unpack in this article and even in this short excerpt. Perhaps the most shameful — yet entirely predictable and falling into the “but of course” category of irony — aspect of this failed coup in Germany is its roots in QAnon, in part. Imagine that! America exports its fucktarded craziness around the world. I expected nothing less! I have long said America’s stupidity breeds; little did I know it crosses borders. Perhaps that is a bit too unfair. Perhaps I should be casting aspersions more generally: Humanity, not just Americans, has a fatal flaw of being stupid, especially in the realm of conspiracy theories. I’m sure I could find some biological, sociological, or psychological theories as to why humans are susceptible to crazy bullshit stories, but I’ll cut right to the chase: It’s a brain defect. What would you think if someone said to you that “Germany’s post-World War II Republic is not a sovereign country but a corporation set up by the victorious Allies.” What the fuck is it with people that see boogymen everywhere? This is not normal. It is not healthy for any society, which is why I believe these people should be eliminated from humanity. I have no words for such incomprehensible stupidity, yet too many accept imbecile thoughts as knowledge. And that brings me to my next point.

The pervasiveness of such beliefs in those rounded up in Germany is astonishing. A lawmaker turned judge, policemen, military personnel, royalty, and various fruitcake conspiracy theorists. This is no different than America, except here in America, we condone all this craziness because Americans are a special kind of fucking stupid.

My last point should serve as a warning to everyone. Conspiracy theorists and violent morons worldwide are getting more organized and diligent. We have been living in a relatively peaceful era where these fucktards, which have always been with us, are getting more popular, and if left unchecked, these far-right, deep-state conspiracy theorists will get the upper hand. It’s happened once before recently: 1930s Germany! Watch out, people. The crazies are starting to take over the asylum.

Moore County Outrage: Eh, Fuck ’em!

My initial reaction to the electric substation attack was probably the same as everyone else: Great, another domestic terrorist attack where guns have been used as the means to weaponize electricity and cold weather against who knows what — drag queens, supposedly. I wondered what neo-Nazi Atomwaffen Division terrorists decided to do this. Then I heard North Carolinians being interviewed on the news and their southern drawl immediately reminded me of those being impacted. (Their accent is an assault on my ears!) So, I wondered. I wondered how this county voted in the 2022 election. The results above confirmed my initial suspicions: This is a firmly RepubliKKKlan population who have been left in the dark and cold. This county is so conservative that most people running against the RepubliKKKlan Party dare not run as a Democrat. Instead, they run as “unaffiliated” if there is an opponent at all. Then my compassion went right out the window. I’m not praising the domestic terrorist attack, but now I just don’t care. If RepubliKKKlans and religious nutjobs like to ascribe events to some ridiculous notion of God’s wrath, then I wonder what this God-fearing, RepubliKKKlan-voting county has done to deserve this? Maybe for simply being RepubliKKKlans? Whatever! If RepubliKKKlans die because of this, then so be it. I really don’t care. Fuck RepubliKKKlans, evil evangelicals, MAGA morons, and QAnon kooks. Fuck them all! Welcome to stupid America!

SCOTUS Hates the LGBTQ Community

I speak of the 303 Creative case. Allow myself to quote myself from a post I wrote two years ago, “A conservative Court will enshrine the First Amendment as reasoning for open season on discrimination of every kind, especially against the LGBTQ community.  I cannot repeat the disaster this will be for America for the next thirty years! Mark my words, morons!  People have been asleep at the wheel [emphasis in original].” I titled the post “Catastrophic” two years ago when RBG died for a reason, and it seems — quite predictably — my words are coming to pass.

Let’s cut right to the chase, shall we? Slate explains it well, “And that may be another reason why SCOTUS took up 303 Creative: It provides the opportunity to lay down a seemingly modest legal principle that lower courts can expand to its logical limits and beyond. A decision for Smith will unleash increasingly extreme assaults on civil rights law by Donald Trump’s judges. Trump judges are already champing at the bit to legalize broad swathes of discrimination. 303 Creative may hand them a new weapon against civil rights law, much like SCOTUS’ decision in Bruen let them smash all manner of gun restrictions. It might start with a website designer, but the court’s holding will swiftly spread to bakers, florists, photographers, then venue owners, hotels, caterers, hair stylists, jewelers—any business that can claim its good or services would be used to ‘express’ support for same-sex marriage. This principle might eventually extend to discrimination against all gay people, not just those seeking to get married, under the theory that serving them would require ‘expressing’ support for homosexuality.”

Therein lies the true intentions of SCOTUS: To legalize discrimination against the gays. Full stop! No mincing words! This is the loose thread dangling from your favorite sweater waiting to be pulled or snagged that will tear a hole that cannot be fixed. As I have said so many times, SCOTUS can do whatever they want, and I would not be surprised if they use this case to create a ruling that goes beyond the original question just because they can. Let’s be clear about something: This is a case where no party has been injured. This Lorie Smith cunt was never asked to design a same-sex website. There is no gay couple actually demanding her services. This entire case is theoretical. One may be forgiven for asking how and why this “plaintiff” has standing if she has suffered no harm, but never mind that. SCOTUS wanted this case to be able to legalize discrimination against the gays, so they took it since the fake matter was tailor-made just for this reason. So, forget the oral arguments and all that mumbo-jumbo bullshit. It’s all performative, for their minds have already been decided. Get ready, LGBTQ community! The time approaches! The time to fight back has arrived, and I do not mean that figuratively. Soon enough, you will be denied service at a restaurant because the courts have been given the blueprint to defend people who think serving “the gays” is an infringement of one’s free speech. Outwardly it seems to be an absurd argument, but then again, SCOTUS is about to rule on a case with no injured party; absurdity has long been thrown out the window. Welcome to stupid America!

WeWork

So, I watched a fascinating Hulu documentary, “WeWork: or The Making and Breaking of a $47 Billion Unicorn.” I had vaguely heard of the company, and I guess they are still in existence, but before watching the exposé, I was pretty much unaware. In fact, I was 9 minutes into the program and still had no f***ing idea what the company’s business model was. It was also telling the producers began with the founder Adam Neumann stumbling to explain what his company does. Finally, about ten minutes in, they started presenting the actual business of WeWork, which I can sum up rather quickly: It is a reseller of already expensive empty office space that WeWork radically transformed into even more costly communal offices, which it then leases to start-up businesses run by 20-something-year-olds. I have a different interpretation: A huckster in his late twenties who spent too much of his youth raving to Offer Nissim on ecstasy wanted to create a business where no one ever had to grow up, and he could spread his new age mumbo jumbo self-actualization B.S. to impressionable Millenials.

Underlying all of this mess was a fanciful mass delusion of 20- and 30-year-olds who thought they could remake the world as if they were the first ones to invent the idea of a commune. If one wants to get an idea of how well collective living and working operates, then all one needs to do is find the nearest American communal society. Oh, that’s right! There isn’t one! And I’m not including religious organizations like the Amish.

Of course, what is even more pathetic is that supposedly sober, trenchant, and sophisticated venture capitalists bought into Neumann’s delusions for years with essentially no oversight. It’s one thing if WeWork purchased the buildings and leased the space, but they didn’t. WeWork, itself, was a leasee of the space. In essence, the business model was to be a mass sublettor of office space. And anyone in business who has needed to sublet their space will tell you that the company rarely sublets the space at a profit. But WeWork claimed they could. Spoiler alert: They couldn’t.

The moral of the story is this: A youngster selling utopia, rainbows, and the cure for the drudgery of work is probably a fraud. Unfortunately, it took billions of dollars of other people’s money to figure that out. But, naturally, Neumann walked away from the company with a golden parachute worth $1.7 billion. There is a sucker born every minute, and some people know how to make it very profitable. Welcome to stupid America!

Marriage Equality Bill Not What You Think It Is

So, I read the Respect for Marriage Act. It’s very short, just a few paragraphs. And I was a bit perplexed. It never stated that same-sex marriages shall be legal in the U.S. Instead, it says, in summary, that a legal same-sex marriage shall be recognized in all states. Or, more precisely, that “[n]o person acting under color of State law may deny … full faith and credit to any public act, record, or judicial proceeding of any other State pertaining to a marriage between 2 individuals, on the basis of the sex, race, ethnicity, or national origin of those individuals [emphasis added].” This bill basically says what’s recognized in one state must be recognized in another, as traditional marriage is now. On its face, it makes sense and is consistent with the idea that marriage is (always has been) regulated at the state level.

Then I read this Slate article, which confirmed my suspicions in its closing paragraph, “In short, this bill goes as far as today’s Supreme Court could conceivably allow. If it passes and Obergefell falls, states can resume denying marriage licenses to same-sex couples. They might even be able to nullify the same-sex marriage licenses it provided under Obergefell. But couples who face such discrimination can travel to another state, obtain a new license, and compel their home state to recognize it, along with the rights and privileges it provides. And their marriage will receive full protection under federal law. As far as backstops go, it doesn’t get much better than the RFMA.” Wow! Backstop? People have to “compel” a state to recognize them? Doesn’t get much better? This! From a liberal website. The author Mark Joseph Stern is an a**hole.

While good and necessary — to say the least — the bill still leaves a stigma of second-class citizenship and does not “enshrine” gay marriage as Democrats like to tout. Apparently, the gays can retain their rights through this “backstop” measure, and they cannot (should not) ask for more, as Sterns suggests. The more I ruminate on the article and the bill, the more irked I become because, as usual, the LGBTQ community has to settle for half-measures and the back door to get equal rights.

Let’s just be clear about something. When SCOTUS ends Obergefell  — and they will — states can return to denying same-sex couples a marriage license, also known as discrimination — hardly equality! Ironically, RFMA almost guarantees discrimination in a way. The Obergefell decision currently grants more equality to the LGBTQ community than RFMA because Obergefell demands that all states must legalize same-sex marriage, but don’t worry. With RFMA in place when Obergefell falls, the gays can always travel across state lines to get married in a state where same-sex marriage is legal. When they return home, then that state must recognize all the rights and responsibilities of marriage even though said home state made such marriage illegal. So, really the only hassle is a couple must seek equality in another state first. Hmmm. Why does this sound familiar? Where have I heard this before? If I could just place this rationale being used in another context. Where, oh, where have I heard this before? Oh, yes, of course. It’s the same argument used with abortion rights as women have been relegated to second-class status. Nothing smacks of second-class more than having to go out of one’s way (literally and figuratively) to achieve the same rights as the neighbors. Just another half-victory for the LGBTQ community if the bill passes. Which would you prefer: A right enshrined in the Constitution or codified by law? Hint: It’s the Constitution, stupid! Two steps forward, one step back. Welcome to stupid America!

‘I Like the Dumb N***** Football Player’

As AlterNet reports, “Trump-endorsed Georgia Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate, Herschel Walker, revealed on Sunday that he is a science-denying religious extremist. Walker wrongly insisted the existence of apes dispels the scientific theory of evolution, and there was no Big Bang Theory. He attributes all of creation to God. ‘I tell you something else I heard – now think about this,’ Walker, very proudly, told the pastor of Georgia’s Sugar Hill Church, ‘at one time, science said, man came from apes.’ ‘Did it not?’ Walker, a former college and pro-football star asked, pointing at the audience. ‘Well, what is interesting though, if that is true, why are there still apes?’ ‘Think about it,’ Walker pressed [without any sense of irony]. … ‘So when God came and said, “Now let me create this.” And God created the Earth. And he put Adam and Eve there, and stuff [“and stuff” — I can’t].’”

So, what did one expect from a football player? I’m not going into the content of what he said because the stupid is incomprehensible, and it hurts my brain. The quote above demonstrates the quality of the candidate the RepubliKKKlan Party seeks to counter the eminently qualified and highly educated Reverend Dr. Warnock. Look, f***tards. There is only one reason why Walker is running for a Senate seat: He’s Black! Oh, but I suppose Walker possesses a few more added bonuses that make him the winning candidate in Georgia — one of the most racist states in the country, only bested by Mississippi. The upcoming Senate race between Warnock and Walker is relatively straightforward. The RepubliKKKlan Party decided it needed to counter a Black incumbent Senator with another Black contender, but not just any old Black guy. Oh, no! It has to be just the right kind of Georgia n*****. And let me be very clear about my vocabulary here: Democrats view Warnock as a Senator who is also Black, whereas RepubliKKKlans see Walker as their n***** who can take out the other n*****. Given the excerpt above, conservatives found their guy, who is sufficiently religious, stupid, athletic, and makes, obviously, flaky biscuits, while also not being — and this is extremely important — not being uppity because there is nothing that grinds on white southerners’ nerves more than an uppity n*****.

But wait! There is more! According to The Hill, “Warnock, who won a special election in 2021 and is now running for a full term, is supported by 45 percent of registered voters in the poll released Wednesday, while Walker is backed by 49 percent of voters.” You can’t make this stuff up! America! Too dumb to survive.

This is why enough RepubliKKKlans will show up to the polls to vote for Walker, and not enough Democrats will show up to vote for Warnock — because they can’t be bothered generally. Oh, sure. They did it once, so why can’t Warnock win again? Because it is head-to-head n*****s, and Georgia is still that state where stupidity and white supremacy reign supreme. In effect, the RepubliKKKlans have leveled the playing field so that the election is basically two whiteys on the ballot — one competent, capable Democrat and one stupid RepubliKKKlan jock. Georgians are literally going to show up at the polls and weigh the merits of two Black candidates, and the majority of Georgians are going to tell themselves, “I like the dumb n***** football player.” Mark my words, morons. Welcome to stupid America!

‘I’m Not That Smart’: Says Dumb N***** Herschel

RepubliKKKlans et al. want a moron to represent them. Full stop! It’s not that hard to apprehend, f***tards. This is a stupid country that wants other stupid RepubliKKKlan leaders — witness traitor trump and now Herschel Walker. Mark my words! How in the hell can the Georgia race be this close in any poll? How? The only viable reason is that voters like stupid, and it’s really no wonder, for stupid attracts stupid. I’m starting to think Democrats are going to lose the Senate. Oh, well. Welcome to stupid America. The stupid cannot be undone! The end is coming, folks. It’s just a matter of time.

Georgians Want Walker, the Dumb N*****

Georgians — RepubliKKKlans that is — can’t wait to elect the dumb n***** as their Senator because it’s much better to have their ignorant house n***** in the Senate than the Dr. Reverened Warnock, who, in their estimation, is just too uppity for whitey Georgians. The average of polls basically has the Warnock-Walker race tied. Oh, sure, Warnock has technically pulled ahead, making up a larger deficit, but the race was always going to tighten. Given Walker’s campaigning over the last several weeks, the real question is how and why is the race effectively tied? As I’ve written in other posts, Georgia is just as racist as it ever was. It does not matter that two Black candidates are running for the same Senate seat. While whitey may claim to be “color-blind,” they understand it is better to have an idiot n***** in office that can be controlled by the white majority rather than a rogue, educated Black man who can challenge whitey and advance liberal policies that threaten racists! Welcome to stupid, racist American!

Um, but He’s Black

According to Rolling Stone, “The fallout from the ill-fated Mar-a-Lago dinner date between Donald Trump, the antisemite Ye, and the young white nationalist Nick Fuentes is exposing a schism between the MAGA faithful and even-further-right extremists who think the time may have come time to embrace a new Dear Leader. … Politically, Ye appears to hit a sweet spot for extremists, combining America First politics, Christian nationalism, and naked discrimination against Jewish people. … Andrew Torba, founder of the alt-right social media company Gab, wrote on Telegram that Ye’s candidacy is useful to his goal of shifting ‘the Overton Window further right.’ Torba added: ‘That won’t happen with 2022 Trump, but it could continue to happen with Ye.’ As a strategy, Torba proposed his followers shift ‘all of our memetic energy for the 24 primaries to Ye if he announces a run.’” This is fantastic. Black Ye is coming to the rescue of Christian white supremacists because traitor trump has gone soft.
