This man is a genius! He is one of the most trenchant minds I read regularly. His most recent article on Salon elucidates the MSM incompetence and cheerleading of America into fascism. Don’t forget, morons, that fascism requires a compliant and wholly-owned media, and the MSM is more than willing to sell American democracy for 30 pieces of silver.

DeVega writes, “The Republican fascists are leading a revolutionary movement. The news media, with its outmoded tools and assumptions, is largely unable to comprehend such a force. For many in the news media, access is more important than truth-telling. The powerful cannot be trusted to police themselves, and also cannot be trusted to admit when a societal institution is in crisis because they are dependent on that institution for meaning, prestige, authority and resources. … Right-wing propagandists who do the work of the Republican-fascists and larger white right represent a particular type of danger and threat to American democracy. But perhaps just as dangerous are the professional centrists and hope-peddlers who keep telling the American people — in the face of the preponderance of the evidence and common sense — that somehow everything will be OK.”

I am not going to comment too much because DeVega says it all better than I could, but suffice it to say, I wholeheartedly agree with his assessment that “hope-peddlers” (e.g., dumbass Democrats, CNN, and MSNBC) are just as much of a problem. This is why I keep saying that RepubliKKKlans will destroy our democracy and Democrats will watch. Oh, well! Welcome to stupid America!

Rudy Giuliani — the former New York City mayor, former attorney to ex-President Donald Trump, and current architect of the attempt to overthrow the 2020 presidential election — was unmasked on Wednesday’s episode of Fox’s “The Masked Singer.” Whatever! This is a prime example of a stupid, dying America. Bad actors always get rewarded in America. Always! They are revered, and they are amplified. Nothing ever changes. Someone coordinates the overthrow of a free and fair election; then they show up on television for all the America to see and gawk at as if nothing ever happened. It never f***ing fails. American reality T.V. shows! The great mind washing of American “intelligence” and the laundromat of criminal actors and their reputations. And we wonder why people care so little about American democracy and voting. They’re too busy being entertained by those who want to enslave them. It’s bread and circus, f***tards! Bread! And! Circus! Oh, well! Welcome to stupid America. The evidence is boundless, especially in pretty chicken costumes! I expected nothing less!

Democrats have struggled to respond to this offensive [naturally!], both at the state and national level. … All of which suggests that if voters don’t send a cautionary signal in November, the red-state drive may be just beginning to roll back the ‘rights revolution’ of the past six decades — and return the US to a pre-1960s world in which people’s basic civil rights and liberties varied much more depending on where they lived [emphasis added].”

According to The Daily Beast, “On Monday, Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle in Florida threw out the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s mask mandate for air travel and other forms of mass transportation. Deaths from COVID-19—and the mask mandates intended to prevent them—may be on the wane nationwide, but whatever you think about such policies, this is the latest and most egregious example of a judge acting as a partisan warrior in the COVID-19 culture wars. … Now she is substituting her opinion for that of scientific professionals at the CDC, and dictating health policy in America. The outcome could be disastrous, only serving to further embolden the right-wing activists who dispute the reality of this horrifically lethal pandemic. … The CDC first issued a public health order requiring masks in interstate transportation and at transit hubs in February 2021, and it didn’t take long for anti-mask diehards to make getting on a plane or train a nerve-wracking proposition. Still, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) issued security directives to enforce the CDC order, and the CDC and TSA have extended that mandate throughout the pandemic. Just last week, the CDC extended the mandate for 15 days, until May 3. … Judge Mizelle says that enforcing such a mandate is akin to ‘detention and quarantine,’ which she claims is beyond CDC’s remit. Really? [Truly!] The CDC operates under what has long been called the ‘quarantine regulations.’ The statute in question—the Public Health Services Act—has been in use since 1948, and was designed to prevent interstate and international transmission of dangerous infectious diseases. … Rogue judges, at one time or another, have neutered virtually every major COVID-19 risk mitigation order issued by the Biden administration. But if this order can be nullified, there is literally nothing the CDC or the federal government could do to fight COVID-19. Even worse, the ruling may serve to handcuff the CDC when the next health crisis hits. The agency may become gun-shy, afraid to exercise even the most urgently needed public health powers, and conservative activists who have long made headlines for travel crimes and misconduct will feel vindicated [emphasis added].”

The Biden administration cannot let this ruling stand; it must be adjudicated before SCOTUS, which has ironically been upholding some federal regulations regarding COVID. (Normally, I would pursue a tirade about how Biden would let this ruling by a MAGA moron judge go unchallenged, but he is a wartime president, so I’ll refrain.) But whatever! Nothing matters anymore because America is a bunch of whiney f***ing G.D. selfish b*tchy snowflakes who are incapable of doing the minimally required actions to control the virus and help others. If and when COVID comes roaring back, then the public will be unwilling to do anything or follow any regulations to mitigate the pandemic’s spread because America is stupid, and judges are literally substituting their conservative biases for CDC directives. Americans think they are done with the virus, but I promise — the virus is not done with you! Apparently, there are large swaths of the public that the virus has yet to eliminate from the planet; perhaps a silver lining behind this judge’s ruling is the hastening of the end of these people. Welcome to stupid America! Eh, I expected nothing less!

According to The Hill, “During the meeting, board member Rabih Abuismail suggested the board approve a library audit in all district schools to review what books are made available. Fellow member Kirk Twigg suggested that books deemed offensive be kept ‘in the back’ where parents can still examine them. However, Abuismail said he ‘didn’t even want to see them,’ adding ‘I think they should be thrown in a fire.’”

This! In a state that just elected a RepubliKKKlan governor who will make discrimination and hate cool and legal again. It’s coming, morons. Mark my words! ‘Never Again’ — Not! (Again)

From The Jerusalem Post, “‘I don’t believe the world, after what we’ve seen go on in Ukraine. We don’t believe the words. After the escalation of Russia, we don’t believe our neighbors. We don’t believe all of this,’ Zelensky said in English when asked by Tapper what he thought of politicians worldwide saying ‘never again,’ given the current conflict in Ukraine. ‘The only belief there is, is belief in ourselves, in our people, belief in our Armed Forces, and the belief that countries are going to support us not just with their words but with their actions,’ he said, switching to Ukrainian. ‘That’s it. Never again. Really, everybody is talking about this and yet, as you can see, not everyone has got the guts.’ Last month, the Ukrainian leader previously told the German parliament that the ongoing conflict with Russia has made the known phrase ‘meaningless.’”

Meaningless! Indeed! I swear to f***ing God, Zelenskyy is the only world leader who truly sees everything clearly and keenly. He understands the West better than the West understands itself! And I am reminded of my original prediction: The West will stand by wringing their hands as Ukraine falls to Russia. Although I am less sure Russia can overcome Ukraine, I am sure the West is more inclined to “never again” its way to make the situation worse for Ukraine and the world; that is to say, the West will never again put an end to Russian aggression because, as Zelenskyy noted, the West has no guts. It is the pusillanimousness I had long feared from NATO et al. To be sure, the West ramped up their initial response against Russia — sanctions and weapons — quickly, and it was effective in helping Ukraine to win the Battle of Kyiv. But at this critical point in the war, the West is not pushing further and harder enough. Instead, it seems they are signaling a belief that Ukraine has this after all. No! That is faulty reasoning. The new realization should be this: Russia is back on its heels, so now is the time for Ukraine and NATO et al. to end Putin and Russia! End the war crimes! End the genocide! If I’ve said it once, then I’ve said it many times before: The West is already at war with Russia; Ukraine is merely the battlefield at this particular moment. Russia understands this; the West is oblivious. This lack of foresight enables “never again” situations to arise, persist, and go unpunished. Zelenskyy nailed it — again!

Faux News got exactly the stereotypical image of the “Black man” to help elucidate their viewership about the labor union movement as if they care. Faux News wanted this guy looking like he had just arrived from his baby mom’s crack house. I’m surprised they didn’t have him smile to show off his gold grill and matching Glock. The only purpose for Ticker Carlson was to have his viewers watch the segment and ask themselves: This guy headed up a union at Amazon? That way, his racist audience can be reminded why they hate unions so much and wonder how much more the “Blacks” will cost them when Amazon raises prices.

Instead of people focusing on the real guarantee — today and the hope of a tomorrow — we have morons that think the point of life is to get to heaven, so f*** life and f*** everyone else. (Everyone thinks they’re going to heaven.) They believe today is just a temporary stop to eternity. One cannot have a well-functioning society where half of it says: F*** it! Texas: A Sh*thole State and America’s Future!

According to CNN, “A new pro-gun law in Texas that went into effect Wednesday allows most Texans who legally own a firearm to carry it openly in public without obtaining a permit or training, a measure that experts say will make it more challenging for law enforcement to protect the public from gun violence.”

Texas just passed a law to make voting in the most difficult-to-vote-in state even more difficult. They passed a law that made abortions illegal and vigilante justice legal. Last, they just passed a law that effectively turns the state into the wild, wild west of guns. And this state just increased its number of electoral college seats by two. The second most populous state has essentially become the anti-woman, gun-loving nutjob, vote-hating, vigilante-condoning, anti-science conservative bastion that RepubliKKKlans have long desired. Texas is a sh*thole state and the future of America. And no one cares. Do not think that there will be blowback for this anti-abortion Texas law because the state has been passing anti-woman laws for over a decade, and what has the electorate (Democrats and Independents) done to stop them? Um, not a G.D. thing. RepubliKKKlans are just as firmly in control of the state as they were since the last time a Democrat was governor — 1994. Slowly but surely, the minority political power class has been exerting its control over the majority, and the majority allows it to happen, year after year. So, no! There will be no blowback from the voters because, deep down instead, this was all foreseeable, and they did nothing. Plus, more generally, America is just too m*****f***ing G.D. stupid to care or vote. This is what America wants because nothing is changing for the better; it’s only getting worse — faster. This is what a dying democracy looks like — it’s the tyranny of the minority over the majority in the image of its puritanical Christian religiosity! Mark my words, morons! Welcome to stupid America. Roe v. Wade Ended Yesterday: Oh, Well

From The Hill, “A Texas bill banning virtually all abortions after a heartbeat is detected, which can occur in as few as six weeks, went into effect at midnight on Wednesday after the Supreme Court did not move to block it.” So, effectively Roe v. Wade ended last night. It is pretty clear SCOTUS is signaling that it will strike down this 48-year-old legal precedent, and no one cares. Oh, well! I’ve written about this moment extensively, and I knew dumbass Democrats would be completely incompetent to mount a sustained fight to protect women’s rights. This is a long battle finally won by conservatives. Let the floodgates open because do not think the fight stops here for a second. Those who actually thought that abortion rights were ever about protecting life, then I have a bridge in New York I’d like to sell you. Conservatives have never cared about the fetus; the fight against Roe has always been about controlling women (Taliban-style). Now the law of the land that protected a woman’s right to control her own body has gone right out the window with little more than a whipper. (I have yet to hear an outraged Democrat on this news; they have pretty much capitulated — predictably.)

I just wrote about the SCOTUS “shadow docket,” which is a perfect example. By doing nothing, they have undone everything. Watch other conservative states follow suit with new laws similar to the Texas law, which is actually far more restrictive than the Mississippi abortion law that SCOTUS will be hearing at the start of the new term — next month. It is difficult to see how SCOTUS would allow a more restrictive Texas law to take effect but strike down the Mississippi law upon review. No, the Texas model is the new standard. This model is that the state itself will not criminally prosecute women; instead, the state will leave enforcement up to individual snitches to spy on and sue everyone around the woman receiving the abortion who may or may not be aiding and abetting her to exercise her constitutional right — see below. Indeed, Roe has effectively been killed by proxy!

But wait! There is more! Also, from The Hill, “The bill, in addition to prohibiting virtually all abortions after a fetal heartbeat is detected, allows most private citizens to file lawsuits against abortion providers if they have a suspicion that the provider infringed on the new policy.” So, here we have legalized (and incentivized!) citizen vigilantism against women. Not sure why a perfect stranger should be given legal standing to sue someone for helping what a woman does to her body — legally or illegally — that does not directly harm said perfect stranger. Yet, this is the law, and people are completely fine with that because America is becoming a totalitarian nation of f***tards who simply don’t care what happens anymore — state by state, law by law, politician by politician. As I said above, the fight will not stop. Next: Gay’s rights — all of them; other minorities’ rights; the rest of women’s rights; Democrats’ rights — yes, rights of the opposition party will become fair game. Mark my words. I have been saying that the perfect storm is already upon us. The stars have fully aligned for RepubliKKKlans to destroy America’s democracy. And best of all? No one f***ing cares. Dumbass Democrats will shrug — as they typically do — while wondering what went wrong. It’s all too late, morons. Oh, well. All these RepubliKKKlans will get re-elected like clockwork! And there will be more losses for Democrats to come because they are weak and pathetic. RepubliKKKlans are railroading Democrats because they can. Welcome to stupid America!
